Went and checked out a jeweler here in so cal called Hing Wa Lee today with my pops cause we were in the area for business.

(**** bros!! While I was typing this we just had a little after shock to an eartch quake we ad at about 6pm)

Anyways, checked out a few of their pieces and did some wandering around the showroom. Was a pretty interesting place, had a bunch of the higher end mfg's I was seriously diggin the Pam's and of course the unattainalbles ALS and vacheron. Saw a royal oak for the first time in person, and was a little underwelmed but I didn't handle it, maybe that would have changed my mind. Anyways cool little exploration.

One thing that stands out on the RO is the bracelet. Don't know if the one you looked at had one though.

I was in a 6.6 earthquake in Alaska this past summer. Pretty cool.

Had to trade it. I think it wore about 2mm more than specs. I finally figured out why. BP measures by the case, but their bezel sticks out about 2mm, so it wears larger (even though it's black) But I'd buy these two again. Simple and sporty…

I love the fifty fathoms. However, I do not understand the love for this one. Indices look way too small for the size. Leaves a lot of empty dial. People seem to love it though.

My all time grail. Maybe a 35th or 40th birthday present if things go as planned. I love the black outline of the indexes, same reason I want the Rolex polar explorer.

The 5711 is backorded 2-3 years. You'll never see one of these in any Patek boutique because of the waitlist. Used market ones go for retail because of no wait.

When I was at a Patek AD locally about 6 months ago they had a used 2013 5711 for like 5k less than retail, was hard not to unload there and then lol.

So the Steinhart Ocean 1 Vintage Maxi got delivered this morning. I swapped it straight onto the leather strap with deployment clasp, the straps a little stiff but should hopefully soften up. The hesalite is awesome, I am impressed thus far… although I am already feeling guilty about wearing this for the past few hours instead of my Sub. My sub has been my only watch for over a year so I think it's just the initial regret phase!

Some pics if anyone is interested, mines watch #025 / 150

Yeah I had to buy my 5711 blue dial used because the wait was ridiculous. I wanted the white then someone said "garage door" and I could not get the image out of my head.

Pretty sad a guy in his late 20s is trying to brag on an internet forum lol. I bet you have 0 savings and maybe even some blistering debt, youre not fooling anyone. Just a guy who doesnt know how to manage his money properly, the exact definition from that thread of peoples dads giving advice:

"Wait until you get your first job and see all your friends spending every dollar they have the second they get it".

Youre just another mid-late 20s guy spending his entire paycheck the second it comes in almost, dime a dozen, nothing special at all.
