He'll be garbage but he'll give guys a shot. Kap either throws it too low, too high or too ****ing fast. He also has a problem of eyeing the receivers and his throwing motion takes too long. He's nothing but a one trick pony and can only succeed in a pistol offense. I'd rather have a QB in there that can give guys a chance.

Agree. The entire position is bad…one guy however has made the team a circus.

Agree. I wonder what the front office/coaches would be saying if they knew speaking the truth wouldn't bring out social justice warriors.

Also how much that whole thing impacted the team. Obviously it's not to blame for everything and the talent is just lacking but somehow this team became super soft.

Team has quit.

On another note, I wish Crabtree would run into Sherman now on the raiders. I would be interested in that matchup now.

And to add, I think the team would have straight cut him if they weren't worried about the SJWs. Colts management is terrible but I can commend the cromartie thing. Not any good anymore, not worth the trouble. They are paid as entertainers and that's what they are. It's not 'unfair' or inhumane…it's a sport, with billions of dollars going out. If you want to push your agenda, at least bring worth to the brand or team. He does neither. Just a damn scrub.

lol Kap wearing Black Panthers tshirt to his press conference. If he prepped that much for games maybe he'd look a lot better.

Just because I was wanting Kap to play doesn't mean I'm supporting him now. Was I wrong in saying that Gabbert sucked last year when everyone was on his jock. Was I wrong in saying he needs to go this year when he still sucked. Sorry I was optimistic about Kap hoping he would turn it around, sorry about rooting for a team I support and its players to succeed. I have said numerous times no matter who is in I will root for and I root for a win no matter how bad we are. Kap needs to be better, but so does everyone else, the coaches, the rest of the team, the ownership. We all knew Kap prolly wasn't the answer, even me, that doesn't mean I can't root for him. The worst part of this whole thing is that behind Gabbert, Kap, we still don't have anything. Ok let's try Ponder, let's hope we can magically resurrect another QB behind the worst roster, and worst team in football. That's a good strategy. Thats on Baalke.

The roster sucks, the players are soft, the coaching sucks, the fans don't show up (why should they) the whole team and organization is a joke and the only person everyone always calls for his head is Kap. A lot of his hatred is from people who don't agree with his stance, I could care less about that, I just want him to win and play well. He tries to win every play and I can't fault him for that. Dude led the team today in rushing by 45 yds and he had 84. Meanwhile give up 6 million yds rushing on defense and all I hear is bench Kap dudes a bum. So he doesn't throw for 300 yds a game, well Vance and Celek dropping and fumbling passes, WRs dropping passes and also who don't get open, and it's bench Kap. Hell in the video above look at Torrey Smith, is he open yes, is he even facing where the ball would be coming from, no. Kap gets hit on that play as he throws which is way before Torrey even turns around, how is that supposed to be a missed touchdown. I wish Kap was the answer, he isn't. But that doesn't take away from the rest of the faults of the team.

It's not like Tom Brady is making this team playoff caliber just by suiting up and playing for us. Kap may not be the answer, but he's the best we have pretty much until we try Ponder and see where that takes us.

I wish we didn't have a soft team, I wish we had a star QB, I wish we had players who could tackle, who could make plays, get open, who don't make bonehead mistakes, who win. But we are a long way from that and I'm not gonna sit here and peg it all on the QB. Most teams don't have a star QB, they have a whole squad who gets things done and a QB who doesn't **** that up. Some teams are lucky to have a star QB who really enhances the offense. We gonna sit there and pray for that guy to come when the whole rest of the team sucks, what good will that do. We need a whole new team as much as we need a new QB.

Tom Brady wouldn't make this a SB team but having a strong leader at QB and a player who can take you down the field with consistency makes the rest of the team better and gets everyone playing at a higher level.

We definitely lack talent but we also have a lot of youth so we need some strong vets on the roster and guys who have a mean streak that can get the young guys playing passionate and hard hitting football.

We're playing soft and uninspired football. Injuries to key players don't help and ass QB play makes it harder on everyone else.

Tough time to be a niners fan. ****ing sucks that as bad as we are we may not even get a top 2 pick.

Man that entire write up was just talking in circles.

Dude sucks. Gabbert too. We all knew Gabbert sucked…who thought he was going to come in and be our real QB? Again, he at least has respect for the team/organization and PREPARES for his job.

As for the other points, honestly didn't even read much. If you will root for every player who suits up as a niner, then that's you….I think that may change as you get older. Maybe not.

This isn't Sherman coming over to the niners, you hate from being dominant against your team. It's someone from within the organization, who has alienated the team, ran off players and became the center of attention…while completed 40% of his throws in today's NFL. One who went from devout Christian to Muslim…to known race baiter in the ultimate liberal city and state.

I would hope you wouldn't root for Hardy or Caruth we sign them up…for your sake. But hey, I don't know you…you may be behind the cause.

Not going to fight within the thread or take their incompetence out on other fans. Go Niners, but in 2017.

I agree that we have not much leadership and softness. But hell the young guys need to show some level of pride and leadership too, so do the coaches. Chip needs to dole out some Singletary level tirades at these players about how bad they are playing and to have some pride. Don't celebrate bull**** plays when your getting your ass kicked. Don't commit stupid personal fouls when your getting your ass kicked. The whole team has no leadership from Jed York down. Staley and Bowman are the only vets and neither one is known for their vocal leadership, they just go handle business. We have no "attitude" on any side of the ball.

Criticize my write up without reading it, sarcastically talk **** during game, but not trying to fight. Dude I don't want to fight either but consider this a place to legitimately talk about the team. No I wouldn't root for people who are murderers, or pieces of **** like Greg Hardy. But are you trying to compare Kap to them? Did we not still root for Aldon, Brooks, or McDonald. We did, until McDonald went too far. And I would still root for Aldon and Brooks like I do. C'mon we know not everyone in the league is Larry Fitz and Tim Tebow, we can root for them on the field without worrying about how stupid they may be off it. I don't let that affect my rooting for them until it crosses a certain line, I would think most people are the same.

And Genus we should be easily looking at a top two pick if not number 1. We just lost at home terribly to a 2-3 Bucs team.

Wasn't joking when I said we wouldn't win another game. GO BROWNS
Just saw Armstead aggravated his shoulder and Lynch has a high ankle sprain. The D is about to get worse if that's possible

We'll see. Still have to play Bears, Dolphins and Jets. Dolphins are looking competent but Bears and Jets are 1 win teams with their own QB issues.

Top 2 pick this year would be a very good thing for future of the team.

It appear that joe staley is now available for trade. I would be sad to see hm go but he might get lucky and go to a team that at least competes and wins game for the rest of his career.

If we can get a 1st rounder for Joe then absolutely do it. This team is going nowhere and Joe is on the wrong side of 30. He can still play but it would be a good move for both sides to move on if possible.

2nd round pick may not be worth it though.

It would be tough to see Joe Staley go but it would be a good business move. We suck so bad right now our best case scenerio is we become competitive next year and maybe a playoff team in 2018. That’s the best case which probably wont happen so even with best case we are 2 years away from making any kind of run which by then Joe Staley would be a shell of his former self. Might as well trade him now. Doubt we get anything higher then a 2nd. Ask for a 1st but get a 2nd. Nobody will give up a 1st for a guy over 30.

We need to do what the Browns did and just have a fire sale. They maybe winless but at least they are competitive.

Can’t really do anything until Baalke goes. LOL we drafted Mike Davis a round ahead of Jay Ajayi. LOL

Still not sure why Ajayi fell so far I thought he was going in the 2nd round. Was a big fan of his and Stefon Diggs.

Though to be fair there have been plenty of other GMs who have whiffed on late round gems.

Much rather trade Torrey than Staley but if we can move both and get something for them worthwhile then do it.

Feel bad for Smith since he's basically being wasted. Philly would be a good spot for him. Wentz has a good arm and he'd be a great compliment to Matthews. Really Torrey isn't a #1 guy and it's just too easy to take him out of the game on our team with nobody else to threaten defenses. Safety over the top and corner underneath and our QBs won't even look his way…hell they may not look his way when he's wide open.

Doubt we get a first rounder for Staley but depending on the team I'd consider moving him for a 2nd…more of as a favor to him.

Of course what concerns me about these trade rumors is if it does happen then who's using the picks? Typically teams trade away quality players when the GM is confident he'll be around to use the picks

At this point I'm done sticking up for Trent…clearly it's not happening and things need to change. I'm still fine letting Harbaugh go but looking back I fuking HATE how things have been setup for us.

1. Fire Harbaugh means Trent sticks around
2. Hire Tomsula means Trent sticks around for at least another year
3. Fire Tomsula means Trent picks new coach
4. Hire Kelly means Trent's seat is getting warmer
5. Can't fire Kelly because it will set an awful precedent for potential hires - Trent has to bite the bullet or stick around.

Really chitty situation we're in now.

Owner - chit
GM - chit
Coach - looks like chit

Owner isn't going anywhere unfortunately. Coach isn't going anywhere unless he makes the decision to bounce(how bad would that look?) and GM is either going to be replaced with Trent v2.0 in Tom Gamble or sticks around.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

My dream scenario even with fuking Jork as owner would be Trent is fired. Chip Kelly leaves on his own and we bring in the Pats player of personnel(saw someone throw his name around and it's a great idea) Nick Caserio as GM. He trades a 2nd rounder + comp pick in 2018(no higher than a 2nd) for Jimmy Garoppolo and that entices Josh McDaniels to take the job.

Draft Myles Garrett with our first rounder then BPA with strong emphasis on WR and ILB.

I know McDaniels certainly left a chit show in Denver but I think he learned a lot from it. There was a great article around talking about it and he'd have a great relationship with the QB and GM. All 3 know what made the Pats great and I'd definitely like to see some of that over here.

Basically they can be like "look at the rings…you want one? Then shut up and listen to how it's done".

….a long shot but til it doesn't happen I'll keep on dreaming!

So how is everyone doing lol?

This thread is dead but totally understood given the circumstances.

mngardne you on the best draft pick bandwagon yet?

I'm actually nervous about this game. After a bye week, Saints coming in feeling really good about themselves and we tend to play those guys well. Hoping I'm wrong and we lose again, though i would certainly like us to not get embarrassed then again the more embarrassing the performance perhaps we'll actually see some changes in the front office.

At this point I hope Chip leaves of his own choice because I don't see him getting fired.

I'm on the fence about Chip.

On one hand his system is geared for college. I don't like the run plays but the passing plays are decent other than the constant throws short of the sticks on 3rd down.

On the other hand I see good plays but either a bad throw or a dropped pass. Plus like last week we jumped off to a 14 point lead and then nothing… I think his style can work but he doesn't have the talent to compete.

I guess the only thing I can hope for is we get a GM and they can decide what to do with Chip.

"So how is everyone doing lol?"

Well baseball just ended so i reluctantly am here with little to no interest in my chitty team.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and…It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

no I'm not on the tank bandwagon, but lets be real, we can try 100% and its the same thing, i really don't see us winning any games remaining.

I guess the only thing I can hope for is we get a GM and they can decide what to do with Chip.
I think Chip gets somewhat of a bad wrap…but the results of his defenses and the improvement by the Eagles since he left certainly is something that is concerning. I think O'Neil was a similar hire to Geep Chryst last year(last option) and it shows. His defense with Cleveland showed similar issues so i don't think it's completely Chip's fault but the fact that solid defensive coaches are afraid to work with him because of the idea that the way he runs his offense puts a lot of strain on the defense is the draw back.

So basically he on his own doesn't make the defense worse but the fact that how he runs his offense alienates better DC prospects it make it tougher for the team as a result. Catch 22 in that sense.

Very curious what happens this offseason.
