also to other brahs itt, i know there some mixed love/hate itt for steinhart. i ended up flipping the OVM i got back in april via trade and snagged this GMT Pepsi strait across. i tried it out on my seiko jubilee last night just for ****s, and i loved the look (other than the end links not matching up quite right, and the seiko on the clasp which i could never feel right crossing over to a non seiko). brb machining endlinks to fit the super jubilee to fit the case Properly:

I wasn't really planning on selling it, it just kind of happened. I'll likely buy a new DJ or prez over the next month or so though.

Misc watch crew I need your help.
Can any Eurobrah tell me if this is legit? http: //www . dutyfreeislandshop . com/orient-sug1r009w6-ug1r009w-capital-dome-crystal-japan-quartz-gents-leather-elegant-watch
wwwDOTorientwatchusaDOTcom sells these at $175 but doesn't ship to Europe, but this site sells it at 83 with free shipping to my country, sounds too good to be true…
Sorry I can't post links since postcount is too low.

This one is actually a Breitling strap; but worked great.
The dark green I have on my Seamaster would go perfectly as well.

Just picked up a Spectre style nato for my PO. Looks nice, but I like the feel of leather much better.

Are hadley roma watch straps good? I bought a leather watch strap at the mall but it is absolute ****. It feels like it's half the density of some of my other leather watch straps, and has this weird plastic feel to it.

Yes, good. Hirsch as well. Plenty of custom makers that don't cost much more. Also, WatchUSeek.com for new and pre-owned straps.

wifey snagged me this for xmas
skx nustled between my cuff/glove
smp with the xmas tree in the back
mako pepsi on friday morning
ordered a new bezel insert for my Modded watch (6538 Homage), and it came in last week, glued it on but it isnt sitting level, so i need to remove it, and reapply the rtv and find a more even method to apply pressure to the bezel insert while it cures. here is a pic of the insert resting inside the bezel (not yet glued in):

Oh, my Orient is down to $575 shipped, and I'll throw in extras, like a Panerai key fob, which is like $130,nib. I really want the white Orient, and theres one for sale now. Must. Grab.

Roll it up and put it in a shot glass and pour near boiling water in it. It will curve and sit so well on your wrist. I just poured water from a keurig in the shot glass sitting in a coffee mug. Repeat x 1 and it fit great after.

Top 5 laundry detergents in the game (don't judge my opinion):
1.Tide (delivers a clean and fresh style of)
2.Oxi clean (attacks dry stains like a monster)
3.all (deserves a spot in the top 5 but not the best)
4.wisk (I respect the stain spectrum tech. But needs to fight harder for that top 3)
5.purex (up and coming in the game)

Want something under $10,000. Starting my new job and will get a decent bonus to go towards this. Would prefer to keep it around $7,000. Down to a few, but open to ideas. Not a lot if criteria, more just what y'all like for the price.
Number one on the list PAM 372. Bright owned it. Loved it, but sent it back because it had some issues. Would buy this one new for around $7,000. I want a panerai so bad…
Wasn't terribly impressed the first time I tried a few reversos on, but now I've got a hankering for one again. Have always loved it. I have no dress watches and it's the quintessential one for me. I love the duoface because it's basically two watches in one!
Love the polar explorer. Doesn't scream Rolex to me, and the mix of white, orange, and black on the dial is perfect. An awesome sports watch with an amazing bracelet. Best bracelet in the business imo.
I'm torn. Gonna keep my Tudor pelagos in blue and maybe my speedy. Starting fresh otherwise.

Because this is a significant purchase, you want to be 100% happy with what you have brought. The fact that you have always wanted a Panerai suggest to me that you should get one.
Save the Reverso for when you are older, as I think it is a very mature watch. Take that as you will.
How about an IWC Portuguese or Omega Planet Ocean? So many good watches with your budget.
