the 43.5gb patch mentioned does wonders for the game so i've read from multiple people playing it. much less bugs, gameplay feels buttery smooth after the patch (series x and xbox one x)

the actual day one patch is yet to be deployed, per CDPR dev.

looks like the delay was really crucial.

Preordered cyberpunk on the xbox it's downloading now. I haven't played any games in years. I was always a competitive cod guy growing up since I started online gaming in cod2…so fired up cod WW2 which was the last game I played, and was just going to shoot bots in a custom lobby…damn I'm a bot now. Playing on a new 55" tv instead of a monitor, and shaking off the rust is gonna take some time..

Probably won't get to pre load until the 8th or so. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't let us download a day or two early.

Have seen no official announcement on it, so that's why I am wondering, and the count down timer is to official release with no mention of pre-load time.

They did announce the preload, it's on the 7th on PC. You get to do it a few hours earlier on GoG

Yeah this will probably be the last time I read this thread until I am knee-deep playing. Can't risk spoilers. Enjoy playing something fresh where there are no guides yet and people are still figuring it all out - it only happens every so often. No offense but why this game still treated like the game of the century. Is it just leftover hype from the initial trailer? The gameplay looks alright but it’s nothing special. People thought you’d need to have 6 2080ti’s in your machine to even boot it up. Tbh I think it’ll be a disappointment no matter what. It had way too much hype for its own good. It can’t live up to expectations no matter what.

I was planning on picking up a Series X for this but since there's no way of getting one in time I'm stuck with my Xbox One S

not gonna wait to play it though, if it doesn't run like **** I might even wait some time to upgrade to Series X since there is nothing else in the pipeline that I am looking forward to

still waiting for the first review on regular Xbone/PS4 to show up, as long as it can maintain a steady framerate I'm fine with it, not really invested in the graphical aspect
