The crown on my Bvlgari Octo keeps falling out. It became loose after about 6 months of regular wear, gradually getting looser and now it feels as it it's going to start falling out just from gravity alone if I'm walking with it. I don't know what to do, which type of watchmaker can repair this? How much will Bvlgari charge for a repair? Pretty bummed out this cost me $8,500.

"Hublot on the other hand is a true watchmaker with real horological value. I dont know how you could slate Hublot but advocate Panerai in the same statement."
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...post1416851891

Hublot's company background
- swatch group
- founded in 1980
- famous for looking like AP
- famous for using ETA in overpriced watches that are actually discounted 50% like 8 years ago so that they actually compete with OMEGA isntead of what they are trying to copy
- credibility: none

your credibility: none

-Swatch group has plenty of respected watchmakers
-Founded 1980, longer than many highly respected watchmakers such as roger dubuis, nomos, etc. Besides it's literally a product right out of the 1980s, what could be wrong with that?
-So it's famous for having a similar design to a holy trinity watch, works for me
-This statement could not be more idiotic. ETA is housed in many expensive watches such as Tudor, lower priced Omegas, etc. Some of you need to drop the mainstream materialistic in-house snob attitude and take watchmaking for what it really is. Patek have used Lemania for some of their watches, but would you insult a PATEK? You need to maybe take another look at these watches and realise it's more about the craftsmanship, years of legacy and heritage, and attention to detail that goes into making these pieces. You can't just throw all that out the window and say "IN-HOUSE OR POVERTY" or you're really going to have many dissatisfying moments with watches.
-Credibility: Take what I just wrote and combine it with 36 years in horology. Didn't the Big Bang just have its 10th anniversary recently? Perfect, I'll celebrate to that.

My personal credibility: I usually buy any watch I want with the price as a very low consideration. Unless it's the price of an entry level sports car or more, it's in my grasp. And with that, I choose Hublot.

Oh, and then there's you. So what will we be having for the next major achievement (if any) you make in your life, a pepsi steinhart or a hamilton jazzmaster? Ooh I can't wait.

Bad decision by you, I guess. Paid 2k too much, WAY better watches at that price, boring, POS. While your jammies are jimmied, feel free to add a pic with a hand written note with your screen name. yuk, yuk..

I think its a really cool piece from an engineering perspective, and its original, alas its pretty progressive and i think it would be hard to pull of wearing, but it is pretty cool.

no idea what it costs but i imagine its probably around 30-40k (correct me if im wrong), for that money i think the ALS datograph would be too hard to resist

Confirmed for not being able to afford a $15 fashion watch without asking mommy for double pocket money this week. If legit you just have the worst taste known to man. It's not even trolling when you just act like a dumb kunt and everyone feels sorry for you.

People arent salty about your posts, they just dont like you crapping up the thread with bullchit…. go tease the firearms crew by calling your WASR a Kalashnikov or something.

I'm pretty convinced this guy, console etc are all just one person who's mentally ill.

I dig it. There's one particular GS I am in love with. It's the antimagnetic with red text on the black dial. Absolutely gorgeous.

Get the PAM. Nice ETA movement wrapped in a 50mm case that many average people can recognise as being worth a lot.
