Told you brah to fire/cold sorc they’re the GOAT for running MF runs. Also be patient with hi MF the odds are stacked against you, same with gambling, just cause you play more at the casino doesn’t mean you’ll make more. But obviously if you play more the more/higher chances of winning

So I have two respecs left so I’m considering testing out forb and firewall sorc, emphasis on firewall. If I hate it, back to blizz.

I’d be curious how they’d do against wave 5 in baal run though. I did Baal solo for the first time today (got two facets) and it fukking sucked only because of the cold immunes before the waves. After that? Melted through everything with the quickness. Did it a second time, and was almost happy to have burning souls waiting because at least I could kill them.

Tried it two more times but both times far too many CI and I couldn’t handle it so quit. Sucks.

Do normal cow or baal runs. (Whichever gives more XP).
You’re way too low for nightmare as a sorc. Basically everything will 1-2 shot you at that level.

I got stuck for a while in Hell Durance of Hate due to those Bone Fetishes. I get 2-shotted when they explode close to me.
Finally got to Mephisto and completed Act 3. Then it took less than an hour to clear Act 4.
I thought my gear was lacking but then realized it's only the way I play in Durance always TP'ing where there are lots of Bone Fetishes lol.

Amount of sockets you get it is 100% based on the items hidden ilvl.
You will always get the max number of sockets that the items ilvl allows.
So you have to keep track of where you find things.

It’s not buggy. The mechanics of it are just garbage compared to Frozen Orb.
Blizz damage is insane, but it does have shortcomings.
It has a significantly slower cast, it often misses enemies, and with orb you have a huge advantage of being able to cast an orb into a doorway you know has enemies whereas (in my experience) a lot of times it won’t let you cast Blizz over a room you’re not in, so it forces you to walk into a room you know is filled with enemies BEFORE you can cast.

You think its worth my 2nd respec to go frozen orb? Not really a fan of blizzard’s mechanics tbh. I know blizzard does a ton more dmg but it only helps if its lined up properly

Sorta lame how an aoe cast has gaps inside its own aoe field

Ive noticed i hardly ever see pvp games in the game list


instead, just randomly try 'duel' duels' or 'duelz' in join game section and youre more than likely going to enter one

Offline mode/w controller(especially handheld mode on switch) > Online Mode w/ mouse and keyboard


Off line is much more challenging, you don't get rushed, just enjoy the game. maps are concrete

Online mode, you're tempted to go into those free giveway rooms and spoil the f out of your time. There isn't challange if someone can give you top gear that you had no part in finding

Only issue I'm having is my resists aren't where they should be.. I Um'd my Nightwings + Ormus and am still struggling. I think I'll need to swap out for 5 resist all small charms to reach max, even with Torch + Anni (which I won't be getting anytime soon).

Once I start PvPing.. with 3 more cold grand charms, torch, and anni, that should push my blizzard up to 15k.

I like that I'm pretty much killing Meph in PvP gear.
When you PvP ditch the War Travs for Aldurs or gg boots with dual resistances. if you have the resources it's also a good idea to start looking for rare FCR rings and crafted +sorc +fcr +res ammys

Are these FO builds usually exclusively FO + teleport skills? Right now I have Fireball as main damage and FO as secondary for those fire immuned.
Is it better to main build FO instead?

I think FO crowd control is so good especially against fast mobs and its AOE is just bigger than FB and Meteor IMO.
I have complete Tals, Monarch Spirit, random unique gloves and boots, blue ring and a nagelring. Should I try pure FO?

I still have one reset I can use and I'm in Act 4 hell lvl 81.
