Crazy how messed up our organization is, although I am stoked Baalke is gone. Curious to see who ends up the new GM and coaches. Also, why we ever let Frank Gore go is beyond me, he embodied the 49ers and just hit 1000 yards again this year, love that dude, wished he retired a 49er. Hope we beat Seattle today.

Fuk didn't want anyone with a future on this team to get seriously hurt here. Tough injury for Robinson there . Hopefully he heals ok in time for next season.

Typical 49er game this far. Start off hot and then fizzle out. Bethea getting exposed in the pass game.

Still in shock the browns loss. Isiah Crowell fumbled on the goalline. Damn browns.

Organization hitting the reset button again is basically them going SF circa 2005-2010. I haven't watched a single game this season and will continue to put my time elsewhere. Bad product. Bad organization. Waste of time.

Just happy we are making changes.
Ofcourse Gase was told to keep Tomsula…. Jimmy Tomsula was the primary snitch in the Harbaugh era. It's extremely childish how Jed and Baalke couldn't let a head coach run the team without having rats on staff.

I'm glad Baalke is gone, nothing positive came from his era except for hiring Harbaugh and one fluke draft that didn't have any longevity.

Its official, Chip is gone too.

I wasnt a fan of his prior to the season but he got a raw deal. I think what done him in was not fielding a competitive team week in and week out. Good coaches adjust and he just wasnt able to adjust his system enough to field a competitive team.

I like to see what Jeb says. He said last year he needs to be held accountable so id like to see how he holds himself accountable by going thru 4 head coaches in 4 years.

"Trent gave this organization every ounce of effort he had over the last 12 years and his contributions were integral to the team reaching three straight NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl. I will forever be grateful for his dedication to the 49ers, and his friendship to me and my family. I wish Trent, Beth and their daughters the very best in whatever the future holds for their family." - Jed York

Can someone please explain to me what Trent did that was so integral? The roster was built by Mcloughan over 3-4 seasons.

Or is this yet another cheap move by Jed to downplay Harbaugh?

Jed is delusional, knows nothing about football and how to create a winning environment for a professional football team.

Chip got a raw deal and I feel bad for the guy, but he's the one making money coaching and understands that's how it goes. He seems like a good guy. Hope he does well in the future.

I'm really curious to see what comes of this, with York and Paraag still running the show I don't see how anything positive is coming our way in terms of HC, GM, or fielding a winning team. I'm one to be optimistic and its ****ty knowing how bad and dysfunctional this organization is right now. I want us to be good so bad but don't know how its gonna be possible. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

He was a big part of Scott's front office. He wasn't able to get it done recently in the draft but to say he's done nothing is stupid. He had great free agent signings and some pretty good draft hits too. He failed to find a QB though which ultimately did him in. The 2012 draft and his ACL picks also were terrible.

Disagree that Scott built the roster. He had some decent picks but also had his fair share of busts. Trent did do a great job at first but went downhill after that. Not sure if it was an ego thing or what but he should get credit with what he did at the beginning. Also he was VP of playey personel under Scott so do you not think he had any input?

So will Josh Mcdaniel be a GM/HC or just a HC? Kinda weird we are interviewing him before we get a GM. I think he would be my top choice.

They're also asking permission to interview Nick Caserio who is one of the top scout guys for the Pats and they're obviously familiar with each other.

Fuk Baalke. Idk why he doesn't listen to our coaches who know a sh*t load more about QB's than him. I remember hearing that Harbaugh really liked Russell Wilson.

I didn't catch Jed's conference but from I just is that he will rely Marthee or whatever will be imvolved. Really? This guy involved in every media meal and rumor that was leaked the last few years.

So much for starting over and cleaning up. Not happy about that.

The fact that Chris Ballard had already turned us down is very alarming.

Never a good look when guys don't even bother to interview.

I was hoping the Yorks had some guys actually lined up before making the move but now I'm not sure they do…if we wind up with a Tomsula/Geep Chryst like GM/HC combo then we're fuked beyond fuked because York won't be able to restart things again in another year or even two. By doing what he just did he's giving the next two guys 3 years at least. Maybe more before they can be fired.

They better get this right but that press conference was brutal. You can tell Jed legit wants the team to win but he's presenting himself and the franchise very poorly.

God help us.

I didn't catch the very end but from I heard he was basically going to talk to a lot of different people, former coaches, former players and will make the best hire based on everyone's input.

Though I'm sure we'd all feel better if our team president was a football guy and not a business major or whatever Al Guido is. Analytics don't identify great football minds/leaders.

Jed doesn't want to win lol, he just doesn't want everyone to hate him, he's realizing the black hole he has created and realized there's nobody to put blame on but himself anymore, not Harbaugh, not Kap, not retired players, not Tomsula, not Kelly, not Baalke. He's the last man standing, and got all butthurt today when someone asked what about owners? Ok, so maybe Parag is the last person he can blame, is he gonna fire the janitors too next? He claimed all this hold me accountable **** and has never lived up to it, he's a pathetic person and a weasel. He's created this disaster and is looking for a way out. He talks about culture and looking for a GM and HC union, well can than happen when you can't evaluate the HC/GM relationship butting heads such as it did with Baalke and Harbs and Baalke and Kelly. He couldn't identify who the problem was then, odds are looking in the favor Baalke was the wrong guy to keep around and both coaches would have done better/stayed had they not had an idiot GM who thinks he knows everything. I'm sure head coaches love it when the GM is out on the practice field coaching when meanwhile, the GM doesn't allow any say in roster or draft decision from the coaches. Who's fault is that for allowing this too happen, oh well ya Jed for allowing this culture to happen, he created it by allowing it and not being man enough to say hey listen up, this is what we're doing. He thought he could sit back and reap the benefits of a glimpse of success and so far that success has been surpassed in measurability by even bigger amounts of failure. I hope it keeps crumbling on him tbh. He deserves it. He needs to step down, he has no business owning this team in terms of decision making process and he continues to prove that. He knows he doesn't have the answers, his own press conference answers display that he has to talk to a bunch of other people, and that he gives these vague broad answers that amount to nothing. He doesn't care about anything but money, but the money is going the wrong way in terms of exposure, attendance, and nobody liking the product. He is realizing how much everyone hates him and the heat on his seat is getting hotter and hotter cause now there is no other seats to be hot but his. He has to hope the next GM/HC decision works cause what's gonna happen if we are bad again, he will have to again decide to start over or stay with something bad, either way proving his ineptitude. He has continually proven he's terrible at owning a franchise but has made it even more apparent by such bad moves, and now with the public and media so aware of it because of all the stories, leaks, and ****ty product, the eyes are coming more and more on him and those eyes are getting angrier and angrier.

He has to be held accountable, and until he mans up we will be bad under his ownership IMO.

I don't care who we get as GM and HC, I doubt it will be anyone special, I was glad Baalke was let go, but far too late. Feel bad about Chip being let go, he deserved better. I just hope whoever comes in can do a better job. Cause watching how bad it has become is beyond frustrating and at this point it became comical and embarrassing.

Last thing, I hope we don't take a reach at a QB at number 2 in the draft.

We are missing talent in too many places to draft high for a QB though. We need to draft the best player available for our needs, QB or OL or DL or DB or LB etc etc just make a list of the chit we need and pick the best available. IDK if that will be Garret or someone else but the best way to fuk your team up and a young QB up is to draft a QB with NO support and expect them to right the ship. Look at the dumbfuk Rams, ruining their next 5+ years probably and maybe Goff's career because they foolishly traded up for a QB when they had none of the pieces to support him. We wanna be the Rams? No fuk that. Built the talent first and then the QB. ESPECIALLY with a draft class like this one, without any world beater QBs coming out
Last year the QB class was supposed to be really weak too at this time this year. By the time the draft came around we had two teams trade a chit ton to move up to draft QBs 1/2 and nobody thought it was a terrible decision(though some questioned the amount both teams gave up but not the picks themselves)

Wentz has obviously looked much better but Goff still has time to turn his career around. Alex Smith was just as awful his rookie year and got his career turned around.

Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to the best record in the NFL.

1983 QB draft it was not but certainly better than the EJ Manuel draft class.

There are 3 guys at the top of this class and you can probably flip a coin at who goes first at this point - Mitch Trubisky, Deshaun Watson and Deshone Kizer. All have questions about them but all have A++ potential.

The biggest question is do they have it upstairs to reach that potential. If so then they're absolutely worth drafting at the top of the draft. But it's so hard to tell and that's the gamble teams have to make.

Dak Prescott fell because so many scouts thought he was a Tim Tebow because he was a running QB in a similar system. Seems like a stupid comparison now.

Personally I would like to draft Myles Garrett and then trade for Jimmy Garoppolo but Cleveland may snatch him up with #1 overall and then the asking price for Garp may be too high and we're stuck holding our dick in our hands.

If Garrett is drafted by Cleveland then I'd like to see us trade down but it takes two to tango and finding a proper partner to move down isn't always as easy as people pretend when making mock drafts. If we're forced to stay at #2 and Garrett is gone I'd like us to draft Trubisky and hope he has what it takes to get coached up and reach his potential.

He has his flaws but his flaws are easier to fix imo. He's played very well under pressure and while he runs a spread offense with lots of screens and hitches but he's athletic, has the arm talent to make any throw and actually goes through reads despite playing in a spread. To me out of the top guys he has the best skill set + flaws that are easier to fix combination.

I'm actually lower on Watson than the other two guys but it's hard to argue with him just getting it done despite the turnovers. There is something to be said for those type of guys and his intangibles are off the charts but the turnovers and the fact that he doesn't go through full field reads makes me nervous. It doesn't mean he can't when given the chance but it's an unknown which we've found out can create issues quickly.

I'll say it again.

If you draft a QB high and he's a bust it sucks. But few things suck more than having a chance at an elite franchise QB and passing on him. You can pass on an elite defensive player and while it blows the impact isn't nearly as bad as passing on a stud QB.

Get the QB position right and everything else becomes so much easier. The Rams had no business trading all of that for Goff. He was a terrible fit for Jeff Fisher and his offense. They better hope he's not mentally weak so he can put this year behind him with a new HC. Plus ironically the Rams thought they did have a decent team and were just a QB away from the playoffs.

The way I see it if we draft a guy like Trubisky this year we should make every effort NOT to play him. Let him sit behind a veteran QB and then use the likely high draft pick next year to bring in some elite playmakers and really put him into position to succeed in 2018. I don't need a quick fix, i want long term success for this franchise for 10+ seasons.

The kid from Wyoming may shootup draftboards. Saw a mock yesterday that him him as the 2nd QB taken after we took Mitch at 2.

Right now the 2nd pick doesnt look that enticing but we have a long way to go till draft day.

Our future looks bleak but at least there is a chance Jed strikes gold like he did with Harbs.

Our future looks bleak but at least there is a chance Jed strikes gold like he did with Harbs.
Did he actually declare yet? I wouldn't want us to draft him. Too much of a project right now imo but the talent is top notch.

One good thing about this draft is the strength at pass rushers. This draft is STACKED with them.

Myles Garrett
Jonathan Allen
Derek Barnett
Takkarist McKinley
DeMarcus Walker
Charles Harris
TJ Watt
Carl Lawson
Solomon Thomas
Taco Charlton
Harold Landry
Tim Williams
Devonte Fields
Ryan Anderson
Tyquan Lewis

All potential double digit sack guys.
