Now Dom, lets not get emotional here. At least they did isolate Photoshop/Lightroom for photographers that don't want or need all the extra Adobe bulk.

True but I'll never be an Adobe fan. Nothing emotional or personal, I just don't like their bloatware.

I'm also not a fan of renting software and feel for any freelancers who one day find they can't use the very tools they need to earn a living or do what they love because money is tight and they can't pay the Adobe landlord that month.

hnnng those teds

In other news, I still have my my a6000 and I'm paralyzed on which Full frame I should buy, as I'm not invested in any system yet. My body wants an A7RII, but my mind says wait for the D750's or 6D's successor.

Shift your focus. Can you get everything you need with X camera? Also, lenses. Is there availability, cost, flexibility sufficient? How is the resale value when you move forward?

Quick question guys, Purchased my sigma f/1.8 lens awhile back (18-35mm)

https://www.amazon.com/Sigma-18-35mm.../dp/B00DBL0NLQ

unfortunately lost the lens cap. How do I go about finding the proper size to order?

Probably a stupid question but oh well, lol.

I like all the above shots in regards to lighting, post, etc, however the pose in this one feels unintentionally awkward and I feel it has something to do with the direct eye contact coupled with the positioning of the head. Id suggest lowering her chin adjusting the angle of her head slightly, something like THIS feels natural and i think you could work it into the sitting pose that still shows off her "assets".

Sorry if you werent looking for critique, I really liked the other images though, kinda moody metropolitan feel.

If you are considering going canon (you mentioned the 6D successor), just pull the trigger on a 5D Mark IV. Even though the 5D Mark IV is out right now, you won't get a better camera with the new 6D.

I have a similar lens (nikon 24-70 2.8 no VR (no IS)), I wouldnt go below 1/125 without IS unless you have perfect handheld form.

All the time, I've had mine for just about a year now and it has barely left my camera. I just try to keep the shutter speed above 1/60th when I'm on the long end. I do have enormous hands though which are like mini tripods.

I'm also getting an 85L later this month on loan from CPS for 10 days, considering one for my next purchase.

Have any of you heard if Nikon is going to release a Nikon d760?

I bought a d750 last year and sold it 6 months later. Debating if I should buy another d750 or hold off for the 760 that MIGHT be released

I own a D750 and would not buy a replacement. The camera has already been the subject of 2 recalls.

Nikon is going to be releasing a camera to replace the D750 or D810 this year. I don't pay enough attention to tell you more than that. Also keep in mind that the Fuji GFX is going to be shipping in a couple months which is going to result in people selling off high end FF bodies. I would expect the used and gray market prices of A7R IIs, D810s, and 5DSs to all drop by a few hundred dollars once people have the GFX.

Wouldn't surprise me given how many cashed up pixel peeping cat photographers there are out there. However the Fuji is a one trick pony.

3fps and you're going to be waiting for that buffer all day long shooting anything that moves. 1/125 sync. You're going to need an extra stop of flash/strobe output working in the day unless you pony up for expensive leaf shutter lenses with an adapter. Might be some tethering issues in the studio. I doubt Phase One will support it with Capture One so that leaves Lightroom which is amateur hour. You're also buying into an expensive and very limited lineup of glass for it.

Cliffs: I'd rather wait for a D810 replacement. Had a D800E for 5 years now with zero problems. Not a single Nikon lens has failed on me in over 10 years. Not jumping ship for a few extra pixels that I can get shooting an extra frame which is easy for me because I use a dedicated pano head.
