Superficial and often "edgy" aesthetic choices

The incorporation of different cultures and backgrounds is wildly inconsistent, from good to inaccurate to downright offensive

DRM-free, can still install the game without cracks even if GoG stops existing. And I don't want my IRL friends to know how much time I will be spending with this game

This. LOL just LOL @ Gamespot in particular, though. I remember they gave Ghost of Tsushima, which was my GOTY so far without question, a 7/10 because "you can't cut down bamboo trees, which is an utter travesty". They're the ultimate edgelords of the gaming community.

Seeing what all the reviews are saying about bugs on PC, this is looking like a no-go on consoles. At least for now. At a minimum, it looks like I ain't gonna be playing this thing on my currently-dying PS4
