Ct scan was normal, nothing to see here.,the MRI shows some thickening of my dura, which I believe is the membrane around my brain. The spinal tap is to see why that's happening. They said it could be some virus that got in there or something else. I guess I have some symptoms of meningitis, but they said they don't think its that.

Thank god for this iPad or I'd be here being. Even more bored outta my mind. My room mate is a talker… Ad I'm not. I'm pissed because my insurance pays for a private room, but there isn't any available now. Oh well….

Got admitted yesterday and should be here until at least tomorrow. Still just sittin here. Good news is this hospital has a lot of HBB nurses and students from Queens University.

Spinal taps are the worse… I hope you don't get the spinal headaches like I did… they had to end up doing a blood patch on me… but I was so doped up that idgaf. lol

I hope it's nothing too terribly bad and that you get out of there quickly.

Oh good! I met with the neurological ophthalmologist and he said that he thinks it's, for lack of a better term, leaking of the membrane in my brain caused by a tear. He said that a fall could cause it and then I told him I lifted and he said that makes sense. He asked if I lifted heavy and if I held my breath. I told him sometimes I probably accidentally hold my breath. Apparently that could cause the tear.

They're still probably going to give me the spinal tap just to make sure its not lymphoma and to confirm his suspicions.

lymphoma is no joke. it's in my family. as is pretty much every other cancer ever.

but yeah.

I mean… I guess I can see how that's possible, but huh. seems like it'd have to be more of a genetic anomaly passed down to you… in order to even create the OPPORTUNITY for something like that to happen… but what do I know lol

Canada brahs aware an aussie brah on Vancouver late this year
Gonna be in a few west coast US places in nov/early dec. Was going to come up to Vancouver, just not sure how long. Never seen snow irl crew.
Chick at works sister lives there and she said that she reckons on average it mostly rains around that period, and is probably the worst time to be there. Was not aware, only in beginning stages of planning trip

On the road again. This time Raleigh, North Carolina. Spent 10 hours on a bus trying to sleep, slept most of it but didn't get great sleep, decent weather today but going to be stuck in the rain tomorrow. It's going to suck quite a bit.

But this hotel I'm in is nicer than my freaking house and could live here.

Wow, really? That's fukkin nuts… Doesn't everyone hold their breath at the start of a lift? When I deadlift, I take a deep breath and then press my abdomen out against the belt as I pull up, exhale at lock-out. None of us are gonna make it…

Wassup?! I hate that I can't come in a visit at work But then again I just found out our browsing activity is monitored…..

I started running! I joined a running clinic/group at Running Room…I'm loving it so far and no shin splints! YAY! That marathon WILL happen. Anyway, i'm sure no one really cares but I thought I'd just update you all…lol cause y'know.

i know these guys just want to see your boobs…. but really… I'm a DD and I haven't found a good sports bra… i need brand/location/price.

good sportsbras make bewbs look groce. lol I had to wear AT LEAST two when i played rugby… I might as well have fukking ace bandaged them down! lol
