Hmm yeah. I think you're correct. Think it was a 2013 model cause in the box it had a 2013 catalog in it
It came with a international warranty card, would any of you know if I can claim the warranty at any watch shop that's a official tissot dealer?
or do I have to send it off to someone

Took a shot of the ROC while waiting for my lady. Finally removed the plastic. It looks so much better without the plastic. Absolutely stunning.

Funny thing about AP is that after owning one, all I look at now are other APs. I've all but lost interest in most other watches. Aiming to get an Royal Oak Off Shore Navy, Panda or a 44mm novelty before the end of next year.

I don't see the point in owning multiple watches so I'll probably move the IWC or the Daytona when I decide to get the offshore. Or maybe I may keep the Daytona and just trade the AP for another AP?

One of these days I'll try to get a shot of all the watches my brother, my father and I own. We have some pretty cool stuff

After you achieve an AP there aren't many ways to "upgrade". Have a nice beater to wear when you don't want to rough it up?

I just worry about wearing an expensive watch=chance to get robbed/mugged.

With an exotic car I can slam the gas down and take everything with me in a ball of fire.

Don't think most muggers can recognize an AP and target you because of that.

You'd probably get a Seiko stolen off your wrist just the same (or whatever else you were wearing).

Wearing my speedy on the train in Chicago was probably my most nerve wracking watch experience, worried about being mugged.

But in reality I don't think it's as likely as it feels. At this point I'm just like whatever if it happens it happens. Yeah it would suck and I'd be upset but it's not the end of the world. I just wanna enjoy wearing my watch and not have it sit in a safe all day

The Daytona was my beater for a while but now my AP sees an equal amount of wrist time.
When I travel overseas I wear the IWC cause it's less shiny and less likely to attract attention.

I used to wear my Oris frequently but now I hardly ever wear it. I'm pretty careful with my pieces so I just wear the Daytona daily. If I know I'm going to be in a situation where I'll be doing heavy labor or bumping into people, I'd wear the Oris.

Any dealer should honor the warranty regardless of where it was purchased, provided you show proof of purchase.

It's not uncommon for the battery to die that quickly after purchase. I went through the case a few days ago and noticed several Tissots with dead batteries, so I would assume they had been sitting for some time before we received them. I've only had to send off 2 watches due to non battery issues within the warranty period and in both cases they replaced the watches with new ones. They stand behind their product.

I'm all about the 24 hour movements.

24 hour Fortis Flieger

Hamilton Khaki Chrono 24

Sheffield AM/PM is one of my favorites. Need to take it to the shop, though. Requires service.

Sturmanskie Arctic is in rotation as well.

It's tough because, for the limited number of 24 hour watches that there are to begin with, so many of them are really ugly. The Breitling Navitimer's dial is waaaay too busy. There are lots of cheapo Russians out there with dials that look like they were printed on an inkjet and copy paper. Not too many quality watches out there with purist 24 hour movements. Probably the most beautiful of 24 hour watches out there are the Guinand Flying Officer, which I love but couldn't buy because it's too small at 36mm, and the Breitling Unitime 1765. The Unitime hails from the 60's, and a decent example is going to run you 5 grand minimum, but most likely more than that.

Had I not purchased the Fortis Flieger first, I'd probably have a Glycine in the collection as a 24 hour movement "tool" watch.

School me on Panerai bros, got my Sub a couple months ago but saw Self/Less this weekend and Reynolds had on something that looked very similar to one and I don't know much about them.

Any good retailers? Quality compared to Rolex and other such brands? Anyone have some on wrist pics or one for sale?

Thanks in advance.
