LOL at the phucking psuedo-science workouts people are suggesting in this thread, good luck with your injuries if you follow any of these plebs advice.

only problem youll have is muscle cramps and getting that "stitch" in your stomach since your organs arent use to bouncing around while running. Get started OP, this is your chance to be a man again!

Here's what you do OP....replace her protein powder with a weight gainer. She's gonna be chugging extra protein shakes to make sure she's on top form in 2 weeks. Instead she will gain 2 pounds and tire quickly during the race.
There is but one path....we kill them all.

OP, have you mentioned what her mile is? Do you know what it is? I'd figure that out, and train for something like 2 minute laps for the first 3, then rounding the 4th like a cheetah assuming you haven't been running at all. You will wind quickly, but running is a mental game. I always feel winded half a mile in and can still run a 5k (3 miles) without stopping.

Wish I could find that thread.
I have faith in OP. If he sprints regularly and it's only a mile he should be able to fake his way through. He's a big dude though.

Goodluck. Tell her you want a 3some with one of her cute friend. Then post it on here. Profit.
I kid, that's bad advice, but would be epic.

I was about 50 meters behind going into the final lap, and then I just collapsed. My ****ing legs were like stone.
Finished in 8:15....I have major work to do
I was too confident and let her picked the race time for 9:00am eastern....should have waited later so I could have hydrated myself properly before hand. She dusted me fellas.
Giving her 100 dollars for sporting clothesand she said I didn't have to sit and be tortured to go with her so it ended up okay. I asked for a consolation prize and she laughed and told me to start hitting cardio.
Feels bad man.
Got my father-in-law to film some of it, so i'll try and upload.
