Range day with two of my buddies. My WR (in the middle) is finally where I want it, really happy with it. Was a beautiful morning, and we had the range to ourselves. Sadly, I had to leave before testing out my buddy's new Remington 700, but there's always next time.



edit: failed to realize there was a new thread... Thats what I get for not checking for a few days, these threads are faster than fuk

I've always liked their classic full size p-line (225, 226, 229, etc), I would love to have a good condition p6.

They're just so damn big I can't justify it except for a night stand gun. And at sig prices I can't justify it at all

Those were the days when if you missed a couple hours, you never bothered to go back and try to catch up. You just tried to pick up wherever you jumped back in.

I remember sitting on the BCM site and F5'ing for about 4 hours straight while working to try and score a backup BCG, too.

I didn't ask the question very well. Am I going to want a 20 moa mount shooting max 1000 yds (I don't even know where I'll be able to get that far) with a 100 yd zero?

At what point does that kind of a mount start to make sense?

I would just do it from the start. Most bolt guns go for a 20 moa base as a standard. You don't want to have to switch down the road if you end up shooting at distance. You'll already be setup to do it.

need a more comfortable IWB holster for my M&P Shield 9... any suggestions? looking at maybe alien gear holsters, i've heard they're great holsters

You're gonna hear StealthGearUSA is the way to go. But they're very high end. I picked up an Alien Gear for $45 from Amazon a month or two ago. Its been great. I'll compare it to the stealth gear one day. That will be my next one.

I have used my Alien Gear for two years now. It's comfortable. You will need some Blue LocTite on the clips IMO. But other than that, it's a solid option.

I do plan on getting a StealthGear very soon because it's aesthetic.

One thing that should never be overlooked in finding a good holster is finding a good belt to complement it.
