i'm still all good with gays marrying and whatever, but you're right on the slippery slope stuff. i remember back then they used to say people would never demand people with dicks be allowed to walk around girls washrooms and stuff. the stuff they say will never happen now will be demanded in 10 years.

When you continually redefine what is the "norm", you are pulling things into the "norm" category that were previously lying just outside the norm. Essentially, you are expanding the norm to include that which lied just outside of it.

When you do that, whatever was lying beside that thing that you just included now becomes "just outside the norm". Eventually that group will push for inclusion and when the norm expands to include them, whatever lied just outside of them previously now becomes "just outside the norm".

It will never end. No one wants to live on the fringes of what is considered "outside of the norm" as it means they are not normal (whatever the fukk that even means). They will continue to push the rest of society to view them as average people just living there lives...mostly so they can justify in their own heads that they are ok, there is nothing wrong with them.

There is only backlash because they wouldn't allow a transgender in.
There are quite a few female-only spas around .. the thing is, if you allow nudity somewhere e.g. a spa, hot springs, pool, whatever - it's understandable that people want it same-sex only.
(Excluding nudists who are ok with it, but they're in the minority).
.... which is why you get separate pools for male & female in centres in Germany where people can go nude if they want. (And likewise separate hot spring pools for males and females in Japan; they do have some mixed but they tend to be used by elderly people).

The only reason there aren't male-only spas (that I'm aware of to date) is just the lower levels of spa usage by males compared to females. But if someone wanted to set a male-only one up I (female ) would have no issue with it because of ^.

(Only problem is everyone would think it was a gay sauna).
