You can learn the basic principles, but he's clearly put in time (and had a lot of instruction) to get the movement patterns down like that.

He does Thai boxing too, not just western boxing (I'm guessing he works both arts).

We don't know how he looks in sparring, but he clearly has been training with instruction for a while, on the pads and bag.

(I noticed that Chris Evans has has some training too, by the way he was hitting the bag in the Avengers opening scene. )

couple of lessons will teach most people proper punching technique, using your hips etc, then you just repeatedly practice various combinations

Evans doesn't look that good, which is typical of actors when they try to do "boxing" in movies. That's why Thor over there was such a surprise. Good, fluid movements. You can tell he actually boxes as opposed to what most actors do, which is train for a couple months for a movie role.
