I decided to cut my dairy to only cheese and butter.I eat the greek yoghurt plain, it hasn't got added sugar just naturally occurring sugar.
Maybe i'll drink some skimmed milk in a protein shake (sugar free), there is sugar in the milk although not added.
I don't eat anything with added sugar... they can all fuc off.
I started getting mad about 6 months ago when I was noticing glucose syrup in everything, so I started avoiding certain brands, foods.... then I stopped eating anything with added sugar.
No regrets.
All I eat is meat, veg, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, nuts etc.

Butter from my understanding is OK, even better if it's grass fed.

Not to be a dik, but I randomly skipped through the first 20min and found a few things that were incorrect just off the top of my head.
Also, glucose is a necessity for you to live, so...
I guess I'll stick to what I know is the truth based on widely taught scientific fact and mosey on out of this slightly misinformed thread
Edit: not gonna make a case against staying away from processed foods being beneficial to your health though. that's a no brainer

Your body turns food into glucose, we get it.
That in no way means that exogenous sugar is good for you.

Still blows my mind that countries with free healthcare ( Canada) tax the chit out of smokes/booze because of the health effects they have towards the healthcare system but wont tax sugar products.
Drinking a can of coke a day is worse than a can of beer. Fact.

Food manufacturers give us what we want...not what “they cram down our throats”...it’s about education and personal choice and many don’t want to accept that.

Too much sugar is bad. It must be balanced properly and it is unbalanced in diabetics. The high sugar bonds to nerves, the small nerve fibers are affected first, the smallest nerves are in the feet, hands, and brain. This is why diabetics get neuropathy (numbess, burning, tingling) in a stocking and glove pattern. Right now it is hypothesized that high (unbalanced) sugar also effects the brain the same as other nerves. After all the brain is all nerves, and glucose is not blocked by the blood brain barrier. Imo diabetic dementia will soon be discussed in peer reviews journals now that diabetics make up such a large portion of the population.

tbh, I think if you lift and are physically active then there's nothing wrong with sugar, since it gets utilized efficiently (into muscles/liver etc).

I've already addressed fructose and what actual studies have concluded regarding the negative effects...there's nothing wrong with fructose...in moderation (less than 50 grams per day ~ 7 or so pieces of fruit).
