My theory on why the show is popular is really simple. The average dude has a pot belly and something else fuked up (teeth, norwood, short, little dik etc) and wants to believe some hot blonde would give him the time of day for being a nice funny guy.

Over the course of my lifetime ive met numerous subhuman to average men who couldnt even pull a truck driving Bertha bitch but are waiting for a good looking woman to enter their life thanks to chit shows like that.

Well maybe, but then that's the whole of western culture in a nutshell, selling a fantasy..look at the glamour of your average booze advert, all hbb's and high class parties, not the reality of leaning on a lamp post puking in the gutter..

Personally I rate the show quite highly, but that's partly because I know a 'Sheldon' IRL. And any show that gets Bob Newhart out of retirement, and has fans like Musk and Hawking, can't be all bad.

I always find it hilarious how these types of threads never fail to make autists rage over people on an internet forum expressing negative opinions towards their precious TV shows/movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy
I fought to get through it but was only able to tolerate about half the movie. Awful.

When I saw Avengers: Age of Ultron I realized I was too old for this type of stuff, it seemed silly for some reason. It’s a great kids movie, but once you get to a certain age it all seems ridiculous

I think you need to personalize that statement dude, loads of people above middle age still love superheros.

I used to think the same about WWE, then I got back into it after seeing a wrestlemania (though I've stopped watching it).

A lot of adults read young adult literature, etc...

Never too old to enjoy kids stuff IMO.

I guess for me then, it’s getting too childish for me. I know lots of older people who watch that stuff

Superbad and Wedding Crashers. I think there was so much hype, by the time I saw them didn't think they were as funny as everyone said.

Couldn't get into Breaking Bad. I think I got through first season and had to stop.
