I think he admitted this that and the other a year or so ago, if you can be bothered to look. I can't.

You know that, he knows that, everyone knows that. It isn't special, just expensive.

I recently PR'd 200lbs squat below parallel. My lifts are still going up about ~2-3lbs per month- even though my body isn't getting bigger. I hit some kind of myofascia limit- the muscle is already very tight, the covering is stretched a bit when fully filled with blood. I might be the only true natural in this thread. Take notes, this is how it looks. I don't take measurements with any pump, this is likely why they never seemed to move. My bone, tendon process attachments are getting larger, little by little. It is important to grow these out before getting really strong "all of the sudden" cough*, to avoid injury.

Before you can make 1000 horsepower you have to prep the chassis

If i remember there is a much wider variance in strength amongst individuals than muscle building when it comes to genetics.
Dude just has it and trained correctly.

He is a perfect example of why you MUST cut first to achieve optimal aesthetics (unless you have great genetics or are already skinny/lean), otherwise you just keep putting on a lot of fat and little muscle due to hormones/poor nutrient partitioning and always look like sht.

What you accomplish in 9 years is not the benchmark for everyone.

Superior genetics, programming and work ethic could easily allow a natural to achieve what you believe to be the mythical 3/4/5 1215 total.

Event with average genetics, programming and work ethic a good dose of consistency will get you there.

Well, 4/3/5 is squatting 180kg, benching 140kg and deadlifting 220kg, for a total of 540kg.

Now, our OP says doing 540 is impossible for a natty unless they're chubby.

I would argue it'seasierif you're chubby, but while it's probably impossible with visible abs (bodyfat about 10%) it's not impossible if you're a middling (say 15%) bodyfat.

Theworld recordsin tested competition are below. Let's just consider the middleweight guys - the 120+kg guys are generally chubby, and the 59kg guys are just freaky dwarves so let's not even think about them. We'll just look at the sorts of weights of non-obese lifters you'll see in a globogym, 70-95kg or so.

Obviously the records are usually held by different guys (thus the 3 added together not matching the total records), with some being great squatters but relatively poor benchers, or vice versa, etc - but let's ignore that for simplicity, and just look at the totals.

74kg - 270 / 211.5 / 322 and total 757; 540 is 71% of this.
83kg - 298 / 208.5 / 325.5 and total 814; 540 is 66% of this.
93kg - 325.5 / 232.5 / 372.5 and total 847.5; 540 is 63% of this.

By comparison, running 100m in 63-71% of the 9.58" world record time is doing it in 13.5-15.2". Running 5km in 63-71% of the 12'37" world record time is 17'45"-20'. Doing 63-71% of the 2.45m world record high jump is 1.54-1.80m.

So if you say that a male in his 20s at a middle bodyweight squatting 4, benching 3 and deadlifting 5 plates is impossible without drugs, then you are also saying that running a 14" 100m, an 18' 5km, and high jumping 5'6" is impossible without drugs. And we can throw in a 3hr marathon, a 48m discus throw, and a 120kg snatch for good measure.

None of these things areeasy. But experience suggests that they do not need drugs, just several years of consistent hard work. Which most of us haven't put in. My successes are to my credit, my failures are my responsibility. I realise that these is an unpopular position to take, it's much more fun to take credit for my success and blame someone else for my failures. Personal responsibility. Radical sht, man.

200 lbs squat after 10 years of SBD? Absolutely haram. If you're what "true natty" looks like, I need to find the person putting gear in my water.

I love snooker. I'd give anything to be good at it. Practised properly, everything. Top break, ever.. 25.

Since every pro and a ton of amateurs have made max 147's, repeatedly, am I literally less than a sixth as good? Turn it around, in marathon terms that's a 12 hour plus marathon. Which I could do pushing a pea with my nose.

Can't compare one sport to another.

I've only been training for 4 years, still got loads of time, say another 20 yrs, and I'm sure if I honestly wanted to max out, I could in time, but I don't want to purely focus on strength.

Please accept this and stop wasting years trying to be the exception. You aren't. These are hard lifts that tax your CNS to beyond what you can recover from, very quickly.

My advice is to lollygag on 90% of your training and go hard on the one or two lifts you really care about. I will bump this thread in a year and report my results. (It's a theory at the moment and it's only my opinion. Although I'm almost certainly right).
idk if I'm genetically gifted or what, but i'm 100% natty, drug-free for life, and i'm 165 lb, 5'7'' and I can squat 405x 10 reps, bench 305 lbs and deadlift 420 lbs

my max on both are about 4 plates each but that was after going up like this: 135x12,185x10,225x8,275x6,315x6 (I usually cant do 6 all at once, maybe 2 or 3 , rest for seconds and then do 3 more) then 365x 1 and 405 x 1
if I was fresh and not cutting like I was always doing.. I could proabably lift more..
on bench I dont think I attempted 3 plates because I was afraid without a spot but maybe 280-290 (after many sets of bench before)
no, the squat and the deadlift should be equal, unless there's an imbalance (a weaker deadlift is a sign of weak hamstring compared to the quads, a weaker squat is a sign of weak quads compared to the hamstrings)

Squatting 405x10 and only pulling 420. I am beyond skeptical.

it's true, have you ever pigged out for months until you become like 250 lbs? your strength levels simply go up, all natty, from all that fat gain or whatever, it has happened to me in the past (i ballooned up to 200 lbs at 5'7'' and i was lifting crazy weights especially on the bench)
