I really dont want to go into detail because ban, but of course there is a point and several substances where it is clear cut and obvious to most, but Im sure you know there are a variety of things out there these days that do not necessarily have drastic physical effects. Maybe you can pick them out, but a lot of people cant. Not to mention guys who ran a couple times a few years back but claim natty now. Of course guys who have partaken and dont look like it would never admit to use.

if I was fresh and not cutting like I was always doing.. I could proabably lift more..
on bench I dont think I attempted 3 plates because I was afraid without a spot but maybe 280-290 (after many sets of bench before)
Lifters at or beyond intermediate level will deadlift more than they squat, and squat more than they bench

If you want bigger numbers, don't waste so much time doing high reps with low weights or you'll tire yourself out before you get to your true 5 rep max (e.g., yes do a warm up, but then as quickly as possible do sets of 1-2 reps of lighter weights to get to your 5RM, then do 3 sets of 5 as heavy as you can go, and increase that every lift as tolerated.) That said with BoobyDigitaloa et al in the house, they can give you far superior advice than I will give you.

Can lift more than that now and without sleeves or belt etc - misc has such low standards it's sad as f**k tbh.
Those are extremely impressive lifts at your weight (at any weight, but especially your weight). Well done, man.

I rarely see anyone benching more than 2 plates at my current gym.

My old gym I used to see it quite often - but most of them were on the OJ.

splurged last weekend on a full rack of BBQ ribs, cole slaw, mac n cheese, beans, chicken nachos, and 2 italian sausage links (from friend's entree) in one sitting had to be 2-3k.
was hungry in the morning but had to level out my calories from the splurge.

Please accept this and stop wasting years trying to be the exception. You aren't. These are hard lifts that tax your CNS to beyond what you can recover from, very quickly.

My advice is to lollygag on 90% of your training and go hard on the one or two lifts you really care about. I will bump this thread in a year and report my results. (It's a theory at the moment and it's only my opinion. Although I'm almost certainly right).
I've done all of those natty at 176 lbs for reps. You are just creating an egotistical view of what is possible for you because you have gotten poor results.

Sorry, but you're just being a bitch. You can work harder and get better results.

Max squat being the same as max dead is usually a sign of a high squat. Not saying that this is the case for you...

For those who have a hard time reading: I'm not saying that the lift numbers that the OP thinks are permanently impossible to achieve. I'm saying that the average person will probably take more than 2 years to reach them. And that's fine, and of course this depends on your definition of 'average person'.
no, what im saying is this: if a natty wants to achieve those lifts, he should be able to achieve this lifts within 2 years if he puts in enough work
-no injuries
-not taking a lot of time off
-having a decent diet
-putting a little effort into knowing how to properly do exercises
-progressive overload

this should be enough to reach those numbers withing 2 years of working out for a natty in most cases
Lift and let lift.

idk about one year but you really think it's not achievable if someone's been training consistently for 3-5 years? That's more than 250 weeks lol

If you are talking about 3/4/5 as a natty, just no. Those should take 4-5 years maybe more. I've lifted for at least that and had a 5 plate deadlift in the last 6 months. Had that bench after maybe 4 years.

Those are not 2 year lifts for a natty. Definitely possible though.

To add more stats to the discussion. I hit a 405x1 high bar ATG squat in 8 months when I was 18-19. I was able to bench 225x5 no arch no pause. I stopped doing deadlifts but out of curiosity, I attempted and completed a 405x1 deadlift. The caveat is I got fat. Back then, the mainstream approach was 6-8 meals a day, GOMAD was also popular. I took both literally. As for how fat, waist was 39", I went from 185 to 220 in 3 months but stopped gaining weight after that. Unfortunately, I don't have video but the proof is out there somewhere. Anyone who lifted at Ritchie at UMD 2008-2009 can probably confirm seeing me hit those numbers. Further proof is when I start lifting again after my cut, assuming testosterone levels haven't plummeted, I should be able to get there again in a similar timeframe, this time with video.

1. Is OP actually on to something though? I definitely didn't look good. Despite a decent bench, my arms were 13.5" cold unflexed.
2. I know I can hit those numbers drug free but with the caveat of getting fat. Does it become much more difficult if lean?
3. Deadlift was at least as much as squat without training deadlift. Would this eventually stop working as the numbers go higher even if you did pullups for lats/grip?

Come on man, 3/4/5 for a 200 lb natty is very good. Props if you actually hit thoes lifts, but youre delusional if you think it is common. Usually im on team “the misc has become all weak non lifting dudes with low standards” but this thread seems to be the other extreme to me. I see very few 200lbs natties irl benching 3 plates without chit form and/or bro spot or squatting 4+ plates w/ depth. Of course ive worked out in a couple gyms where those are average lifts, but that is not anywhere representative of the average natty.

I agree it's not common. It's not common because dudes are walking around talking about the new anal deposited creatine, eating celery, and prioritizing arm day. It amazing what eating, sleeping, and training properly will lead to. Guys want to blame supplements and genetics, when the fact is they train like idiots, eat like squirrels, and play video games all night instead of sleeping. That's the reason they are weak and small not because attaining very easy goals are impossible.

You know that, he knows that, everyone knows that. It isn't special, just expensive.

I recently PR'd 200lbs squat below parallel. My lifts are still going up about ~2-3lbs per month- even though my body isn't getting bigger. I hit some kind of myofascia limit- the muscle is already very tight, the covering is stretched a bit when fully filled with blood. I might be the only true natural in this thread. Take notes, this is how it looks. I don't take measurements with any pump, this is likely why they never seemed to move. My bone, tendon process attachments are getting larger, little by little. It is important to grow these out before getting really strong "all of the sudden" cough*, to avoid injury.

Before you can make 1000 horsepower you have to prep the chassis

It just may be worth mentioning that S/B/D saved my life. Natural or not, I couldn't live without the feeling of accomplishment, survival that accompanies the work.

The stress from lifting is so big compared to everything else that it makes life's other obstacles seem paltry in comparison. Anything you need to do just seems easy compared to standing up with 125% or more of your body weight on your back. The benefits go beyond what you can see. If you remain injury free and do not destroy your own cartilage in the process I suppose.
