When any areas police scanner gets alot of activity I get a notification on my phone so was listening in right after they caught the guy this morning... They were talking about pools of blood going up all the steps sounded brutal. Sad to hear that 10 didn't make it, something really does need to change :/

Every single private or charter school I’ve known has zero tolerance for stuff like that. I’ve seen kids expelled because of it and this was before it got to be a huge deal. The teachers should’ve been fired and the kids expelled or suspended because of it but no one said anything( neither did he I suppose). I think this generation of kids are beyond the old school bully-makes-me-a-stronger-person rhetoric most of us gen xers and prior tend to think about when stuff like this happens.

We as America need to come together and find an answer.

Banning guns isn't the answer and its too late anyways. If there was a ban on guns only a very small percentage of the population would even turn in their guns and those are the people you actually want to have guns. Its like the war on drugs. Just because you make it illegal doesn't mean everyone is going to stop doing it.

Letting teachers carry isn't the answer. Most teachers probably don't even want to carry anyways. Plus it just brings another gun into the school. Sorry I just don't trust some teachers to carry. Hell we can't even trust them to not bang the kids.

We need better background checks on purchasing guns. We need to enforce the laws we already have. We need harsher penalties on gun owners who become negligent with their guns. We need better security at our schools.

We need the left to realize guns aren't going away. We need the right to realize we need better laws.
