No, you can't. There's nothing to solve, and they aren't equations. I teach college algebra - if I asked a student for an example of any equation and they wrote what you did, they would recieve zero points.

Now if you involve 3x^2 - 5x - 12 in acomplete sentenceby saying somethingabout it, we can talk about solving it.

@DrewDarden - after calling out people in this thread for not doing this sort of thing "in college", you go and delete your posts? Good thing they were quoted for posterity.

Anyone looking to laugh can read the first few pages - some brahs here talking down to people without understanding basic things they should have been taught in primary school, srs.

After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. (x-3)(3x + 4)

Well the method I was taught is that the answer = 1.

But another valuable lesson:
1+2+3 = potato

by adding "= 0" you made them equations, they weren't in your original post. They were unsolvable.

And no it's not college algebra, it's early high school algebra. If you're learning that at college I have to question what kind of scam college you're going to.
