I actually really liked it. Wasn't really political at all. Really enjoyed all the little nods, set ups, seeing younger versions of established characters, etc. 8/10

I'm not even mad about her statements, honestly, I am not sure I don't agree with her. I am going to watch the movie when it comes out online. I just don't think it's a success nor does the peripheral income of larger franchises apply here.

Critic reviews are worthless. Nothing but politics. Audience reviews are what matter.

It’s at a 36% on RT. But you know, it’s probably all those mean white men whose opinion she didn’t care about anyway.

The huge discrepancy between the liberal critics (85%) and the actual audience (36%) is just evidence for how political agendas influence these ratings. You see the opposite trend for the rare conservative viewpoint movies.

I'm not an expert in this chit, nobody here is. An expert analyst in that industry says that movie ticket profits (not necessarily revenue) are dwarfed by other profit streams. I don't know where the lineups are, but I guarantee there are lineups of girls out there waiting for their Captain Marvel merch and hassling their parents to hit Disney Land when the attractions are released

Yes... These are the same people who claimed "Trolls" were "Review Bombing" the movie prior to release, when it's not even possible to leave a review, and people were only clicking on the "Want to See it: Yes or No" option (which they conveniently deleted once the rating got down to 26%).
