No. I was implying that some ppl prefer to work and have an easy life if it means max time with family. I provided a very very simple example and you wanted to argue SO BAD that you over looked it. You then typed this pseudo intellectual post when in reality, I don’t give a damn lol.
People wanting to be a teacher making “not very much” but contributing to society and spending evenings, weekends and summers with family doesn’t mean they don’t wanna “kill it” as originally stated. It just means they prefer more meaningful things than money.
That isn’t hard to grasp. Stop wanting to argue so bad. It’s easy to see what I meant by my post. Next time I’ll type it out for you.

I make more than 50k. As a matter of fact... with the amount of OT available at my department, if I play my cards right, I could pull six figures this year.

Most rich people have inherited their wealth. Rich people are still people and they fear being looked down on. For this reason, they make themselves appear busier and more important than they really are. Luckily for them people worship money and there is plastic surgery.

OP is making an over-generalisation.
The real rich who are that way because of being work-a-holics aren't actualy known or seen - because they're at work.
Rich people who are out and about and are known for being wealthy, it should not be assumed in the least that they are work-a-holics.

Trump got his start with a million dollars handed to him. His net worth is 3.1 billion. So he built that empire on a monetary sum of less then a third of one percent of his current net worth? Pretty much the equivalent of someone giving you $3,333.00 and you turning that into a million dollars then everyone saying "BUT THEY GAVE HIM $3,333 TO MAKE THAT MILLION DOLLARS! HE'S NOT SELF MADE!" Only using that argument because people talk about Trump being given his first million like its a big deal.

I made my money to become financially independent entirely from hard work and so have practically all the rich people I got to learn to know in the process. It‘s the old „the little man can‘t get ahead“ cope, that only prevents people from even trying.

Trump was given $60M, handed the keys to a real estate empire in his 20's, and plugged into a network full of the richest people in the world. And STILL, after all that, would be a wealthier man today had he just bought index funds and fell into a coma for 40 years. Just a regular ol' bootstrappin' billionaire, eh? Man of the working class.
The recurring theme here is every single person, no matter their circumstances, considers himself self made. The term is meaningless.

CEO of our company gave us a speech the other day. His company we work at grosses 12mil~ a year. He owns about 4 of them.
He put it like this "Money will take care of 95% of the problems you have outside of your office. I guarantee this."
I'll add that he is a high school drop out and was self taught most of his life. Reads books all the time, and hands them out to everyone.

Most rich people are more efficient with their time and not lazy bums like you. While you make ****ty threads and mindlessly drone all day on misc rich people produce real value in the world. That in turn creates massive rewards. Thats real work. I rather work hard for myself 80 hours a week now and live like a king in 5 years then go back to my past life of barely working 40 hours a week and not having the fun coupons to live i fukking want understand

Not everyone can be rich. Under capitalism only a certain amount of people can be rich. Imagine if all of us suddenly became workaholics only working and not doing anything outside improving our businesses. Only some would thrive, most others would fall.
