Seems a little soon. Engaged 2 years after means they probably started dating around 1 year after.

But at the same time, it's not her fault he killed himself and left her alone with 6 kids. She's just playing the hand she was dealt

He killed himself, what is she supposed to do? Stay single the rest of her life? Granted I personally likely wouldn't recommit to anything within this time frame I don't know enough details to really cast judgement.
