I think you've worn out your welcome in the gun threads
Say's who, some hillbilly from Georgia? GTFO. I asked you to provide a reputable source. We don't have concealed carry in my state, never said I don't believe in it. But to think you should have the same rights as Law Enforcement, no, I stand my ground.

Let's make it clear, I am entitled to have my own opinion which is quite on par with most that I know, I am not for infringing on anyone's second amendment rights. Didn't mean to derail thread. I don't agree with what the left is doing with the gun laws in my state, but there are some things that I do agree with.

6.5 CM makes shooting out to 1000 yds stupid easy.

If the police opposed infringements instead of demanding exceptions to them we wouldn't have infringements.

I really don't see the Police demanding anything in all due respect. It's the politicians who make these draconian laws that don't make sense. Do I have some bias because of stuff that I have seen, absolutely, but that's on me. Do I think everyone is entitled to conceal carry, absolutely not. I am a proud card carrying NRA member by the way. I don't live in a concealed carry state so it's hard for me to see and compare your point of view if you do.

Everyone who is an adult and not a criminal has a right to bear arms and carry a gun. Period.

Your police unions carve exceptions for you. This isn't really debatable. Want to do something about these "draconian laws that don't make any sense"?

You can, right now. Talk to your fellow officers and organize. Being an NRA member while you denigrate the rights of law-abiding citizens doesn't earn any points.

I'm glad you like guns, maybe start liking gun rights too.

I love guns. I am not denigrating anything. You are making that up in your head. I have spoken to fellow officers, there are certain people who shouldn't conceal carry, period. Mentally ill, substance abusers, etc. Now if you agree that they have a fundamental right to access to firearms then you are part of the problem. It's not so black and white. There are grey areas with gun rights.

No I never specifically said handgun owners shouldn't have access to regular capacity magazines, I worded it incorrectly, that I support, it's ridiculous to restrict the magazine capacity.

Do you understand due process?

The mentally ill and substance abusers should have their rights removed through due process, not arbitrarily.

Instead, the rights of all [insert tyrannical regime]'s citizens are removed without due process.

If you have people in society who are too dangerous to be around arms, then they're too dangerous to be in society with 430 mn of them.

The solution is to do something about these individuals, not to punish everyone else.

And then "substance abusers" being denied their Rights turns into having arms confiscated and living out life as a prohibited person who can't vote over marijuana. Because that makes sense.

News flash, smoking pot doesn't mean you are unsuitable for possessing arms.

Meanwhile, in some (many?) states, it's legal to drink alcohol while carrying a gun. Also legal to consume a little alcohol and drive a car on a public street. But don't you dare possess the devil's lettuce in your pocket or we're coming for your guns.

This all makes sense.

Sounds like a fast way to go. Not sure what that has to do with lawful carry. Meanwhile, denying law-abiding citizens the right to carry makes it easier for those shotgun suicides to take innocent people with them.

There are 420 mn guns in the US.

You can order a black powder revolver in the mail if you want to off yourself. Take them out of society either temporarily or permanently but understand that the gun isn't making a difference.

revolvers are fun. im partial to smith and wesson, especially the 29/629 in .44 mag. a .357 mag might be a little more practical because ammo is cheaper though. that being said, colt is going to be building pythons again soon, which is a bad ass .357 mag revolver.

one thing to keep in mind though, revolvers are susceptible to timing issues, meaning the cylinder can become misaligned with the barrel. supposedly ruger makes the most reliable revolvers, but personally i dont find them as aesthetic as smith and wesson
