NFL players see bigger guys run at them faster every play. Rugby is a great sport, but the pay differential means the NFL will get the best.

No one has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training.
It is a disgrace for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

League still has less advertising time than an NFL broadcast even if it's on the field.

It's like comparing a 100m sprinter to a 800m runner, it looks similar but completely different.
NFL players are bigger and more explosive, but only need to do it in a burst and then get the chance to rest. But then they need to learn a ridiculous amount of plays seamlessly.
Rugby Union/League players need to, for the most part, go for 30/40 mins x2 with minimal stops and have more freedom and less set plays.
That's why you see NRL players go to the states to play and play NFL and fail, they take months to try to change their bodies and learn the plays but can't do that in a year when there are thousands of young kids who have been doing it their whole life.
The same way you don't see failed College players move to play rugby very often, they'd have to change their body completely or they gas super early.
Just enjoy both sports for what they are.

If not, seems like a missed opportunity. Most Australians have no clue how far ahead a typical D1 college athlete is compared to their pro athletes.

American Football is super specialised which means you are going to get athletes that are freaks in specific areas. The NFL has large squads with defined roles and lots of subs. If you NEED to be elite for quick 7 second bursts of course you're going to want a different athlete to someone who plays for 80 minutes with few stoppages. The context of what the sports are is super important and this whole "who has the better athletes" is meaningless.
Hey idiot, Im knot knowing his style. Maybe his free. Maybe the dog in his crew, perhaps not....im not God or psychic idiot. Experience my neg.

UK police killed just 2 people of color last year, and one was a terrorist trying to blow up a bridge. Yet every English Premier League game starts with players on their knees honoring BLM (it's also plastered on their shirts).

NFL
Rugby
Rugby league
All three require different athlete types.
Rugby union requires the most diverse group of athletes out of the three codes.

Totally different athletes. Some of the bigger AB's could put on muscle like that but it wouldnt do them much good in a 80 minute game and they'd get the sack.

Not even in the same universe, boyo. Since rugby is ALWAYS in front of you and they don't wear pads, big hits don't happen. Nice safe form tackles every time. All these "endurance athlete" rugby guys would legit die after a few downs of high level football.

What is objectively true is that no nfl player would last even the first 10 minutes in a rugby game they’d be at the wrong end of the field trying to catch up with play before stroking out
