In on this thread, tried to rep OP but said I must wait so I will.

I had twins this year, first time father. A boy and a girl. Both appear to have taken after their mother with blue eyes and light hair. I’m dark with dark eyes.

Anyway, it’s one of the greatest feelings in the world, I was terrified of being a dad for the longest time and really waited for a long time. However, it’s really been the best thing that has happened to me. Words can’t describe how much I love my children. My perspective on life has changed quite a bit.

Crazy how different the little quirks and personalities are.
Our little man LOVES to be swaddled or cuddled 97.350% of the time. We've had to supplement with formula here and there and we've noticed he tends to spit up more from that, almost never from boob milk whether he is getting it straight from the tap or pumped and bottled.

My daughter vomited, shat, and pissed on me too many times. She loves to cuddle. She is always on top of her mother and I. She doesn't believe in personal space. We love it though.

Oh, another fun thing my boy likes to do. Literally every time we have taken him somewhere new for the first time and had to change him, he lets loose a full on trucker bladder piss stream all over the place. Hardly ever does this at home, and once he has at the new place he doesn't again, but it has now happened on my brother's bed, mother-in-laws kitchen table, dad's bathroom counter, and the dining room table of our camphouse down in the country.

My mans ain't even a month old and is already marking his territory everywhere he goes, alpha as fuuuuuuuuuuuu, lmao.

It's just crazy to me how he only does it at other people's houses. He has maybe let loose during diaper changes at home like 4-5 times that I know of out of a couple hundred changes, but has gone 4/4 at everyone's house we have been to.

I'm telling y'all, he knows he is someplace new and feels the need to mark his territory, lmao.

Oh and he totally almost got me with a mid change shart yesterday, luckily I already had a wipe in hand and quick reflexes saved the day.

Soccer is a good starter for the little ones. They learn to follow basic rules, winning, losing, being part of a team etc with an easy learning curve and minimal risk of injury.

Get them used to training, and waking up saturday mornings for games and if they like it they can branch out to play whatever they want when they grow up.

I like soccer for kids. The goal is straightforward and they love to run and kick. If he wants to, I'd sign him up. I've had three play, none stuck with it long term, but they all had fun.

My sons first sport (at 6) was jiu-jitsu and I cannot recommend it enough for a kid that age. You learn so many lessons in a positive and supportive environment. Jiu-jitsu kids come across as much older and more respectful than his friends that haven't done it.

You learn how to do things that are hard, but you do them anyway. You learn how to lose with dignity and how to win with grace. You face your fears. If you work harder than others, you'll be more successful than others.

Not to mention, god help any bully that tries to fuk with them.

I cannot recommend enthusiastically enough. My boys first tournament is next month. He trains 5 days a week and all he wants to do at home is do reps on the pull up bar, spar with me, or practice with the dummy. Seeing him have drive and ambition at that age is awesome to see.

You need to find the right gym though. Kids gyms need a good balance between not putting up with their chit but also being gentle because they are kids.

We have had him try lacrosse, baseball, (and soccer soon) but he hasnt shown near as much interest as he has in BJJ.

edit: His interest came from the Jocko books (The Warrior Kid) series. I also recommend that for kids ages 5-9. Its not warrior kid as in being Billy Badazz, its more about learning determination, willpower, service to your family and others, etc. The kid in them gets bullied and is chit at achool. His uncle (navy SEAL) encourages him to learn jiu jitsu in addition to cleaning up his diet, focusing on school, etc. My older kid loves them.

Someone linked me here. Didn't know there was a crew.

First kid was born last Friday night on the 31st. Girl.

Everything going pretty smooth so far. Three nights in the hospital and been at home for two nights. First night home was rough but we think we had her too warm. Changed it up last night and she slept all through the night with my wife having to wake her up every time for feeding.

Picture my wife took last night. Lord, I thought she took enough pics of our dog. She's gone crazy with a baby.

Being anti-2nd Amendment is like saying "We have too many rights, please take some away!"

He's literally done it every single day since I made that post lmfao. He's gonna be a sad boy come Monday. He's moving up to 3k and the daycare is breaking up his harem. He's got 3 girls in his class right now that follow him around all day every day and none of them will be in his new class. He's also losing his best friend that either bite or hit each other at least twice a week
