Except you are generalizing the far left as democrats as a whole. That would be like liberals generalizing all republicans like those qanon goobers. Extremists aren't representative of the whole party. It goes back to what I said about polarization. The spectrum has shifted a LOT. I used to be center left, but now since I'm pro free speech and pro gun rights, I'm a right wing nazi, according to most of the current left.

Just for once in my life I’d like to vote for a President or Senator and be like “yea, I agree almost totally with that person.”

And they would have to form coalitions of the smaller parties, meaning one party could actually attract voters on somewhat nuanced issues. Our founding fathers -never- thought the US should/would be a two party royalty.

If what the dems have done the past few years haven’t made you deny them your vote by now then you are one of them by association at the very least. It’s not complicated at all when you see what these people have caused in real time today.

There’s no excuse to be had to give these people power and try to justify not being one of them. It’s actually a very distinct line in the sand for everyone to see.
