Crazy to think that Rob Zombie was a diva, and would travel by himself to the shows, do the show, not say anything to them, and leave after the show was over.
Unfortunately that happens with a ton of singers. Static X, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rage Against The Machine, MegaDeath, Ozzy, etc.
LA Sexorcisto is still one of my favorite albums.

Static X, it's also funny, the oriental band members got back together and convinced the lead singer of Dope, to put on a mask, and a wig, and sing and act like the original singer as a "tribute," aka, cash grab.
MudVayne......well, not a big fan. Lead Singer got fat, and his vocals went to ****.
Of course for the Main Act, Rob and the rest went all out, even though it was ****ing Hot!!!!
For 1965, he tells the crowd to put away the phones for "3 goddamn minutes," and pretend it's the 90s, where people actually watched the show.

Got a chance to see Foo Fighters in Safeco Field (rip Taylor) amazing show, 15 minute drum solo and the whole drum kit raised 30 feet while playing.. . Saw Alanis Morissette with Garbage at the amphitheater last year which was amazing. Don't judge me her voice is godly. I need to get to more shows tho. Bezos's climate pledge arena is ****ing dope. Saw Ghost there and the acoustics were top notch.

Yeah if you come to my area which is a deep red place in a deep blue state.. guns are a huge thing. I have a cpl and only 1/2 acre of land. A lot of chickens, goats and self reliant ppl around. I assume it's similar in Maine. Kind of liberal but that old school self sustaining ****. I had to get a rifle that shoots .22 shorts just to handle varmints without waking the neighbors. And most of us don't hate gays... Weird right?
I guess it's not like we all fit into little boxes

Static X, I like their first two albums.......and that's about it. I just think it's hilarious how all the original band members left because they couldn't stand Wayne, but now they reformed the band as a "tribute" to him?
And in a strange way its working. Gotta he hard on the lead singer of Dope, he has to perform the act with his actual band, rest up for an hr, and then sing for Static X?

70s rock > 80s hair metal (not Metallica etc). Led Zeppelin > everything.
My kids all played basketball so of course they are heavy into rap as that seems mandatory these days, especially during warm ups, so I know more rap songs than I should lol.

We gotta introduce you people to Industrial, Aggrotech, Metal, but not death metal.
No country concert can compete with seeing Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Korn, or Metallica live.

I've seen Death, Voivod, Metallica ( Master and Justice), Slayer 4x, Ozzy in 88, Accept ( 1983, best live band I've ever seen), Obituary, Overkill,Judas Priest in 84 and Maiden in 86, Anthrax and Megadeth in thier prime,Nuclear Assault, Sepultura...so many great heavy shows.
And I love Johnny Cash, Mike Ness, Hank III, old time bluegrass and blues. I played upright bass in a stomp country band for years. I listen to Laura Viers ( earlier music) and was big Neko Case fan before she became boring and started to suck ( saw her about 6 times over a decade ago).
I've sewn Mike Ness / Social Distortion ( they're the same band) probably 15 times over the years).
I'm kind of messing with you, but point is just people can have pretty diverse musical taste. Because you love Obituary doesn't mean you can't chill to Adele. If you really love music, good music is good music.
Popular country hasnt really been country for a long time now. It's ghey chitty farm emo music.
As for Maine, Like I said, I'm interested in maybe getting a small home there or New Hanpshire. Will be starting to make trips to properly check out the state.

But brah you wanna hear solos? Buckethead has been slept on for decades and is my all time favorite solo guitarist. Best out there. Had like 300+ full length albums. Makes slash look like a bitch IMO
Saw him live with Primus at Ozzfest '99. Came out with a rubber chicken and nunchucks

Tomorrow going to a country music fest near me.
But my wife and I saw Twice (girl k pop) last year in LA and it was a blast. I will say my wife is Asian so that helps take away the cringe factor. Although I love K pop and she hates it haha. Probably because she thinks I oogle at the girls....which I do.
