Why do you have such a problem with someone doing it differently? Is it because you feel like the woman must not genuinely like them?

I do get that perspective. But even my American ex-gfs would hint at being supported at home. So you still have to filter regardless. I guess it's just a tougher filter. Obviously if you're a fat, ugly, old western man with a pretty Phillipino wife you'd have to be delusional to think it isn't about only the money.

The goal is to try make sure it isn't ONLY about money. It's always somewhat about money and what you can provide, unless the woman is independently rich.

I'm amused by all these troll accounts where they hide behind a '23 screen name and hurl insults. I bet some of the ones who posted as alts in this thread have also posted with their real account. It's cowardice; posting disparaging comments under the cover of anonymity.
