The problem for women is that they wait too long. By their late 20s/early 30s, their income is pretty high, and since women only date up, they need to find a man older than them who also makes a similar or greater amount of money. What they don't realize is that men in their early to mid 30s who fulfill both these requirements AND are single, is extremely rare, and hence, these women end up having to settle. Not to mention their requirements for height, physique, social status, etc, they might as well be searching for a unicorn.

This isn't a problem for just average women either, even the really attractive ones have this issue. One of my friends is a literal 9/10 blonde and she settled for a guy that's probably a 4 or 5, in her early 30s. Another one of my friends is an 8/10 blonde and she is likely settling for a guy that's not that impressive either, and even after admitting to liking this guy she's still banging someone else on the side before she becomes exclusive with him.

It's pretty crazy to witness.

From what I hear, a lot of women are having trouble finding guys that are actually willing to commit, so they're settling.
Key here is willing to commit. I’m sure they can easily find guys above their level to smash, and likely have smashed those guys in the past.
