Surprisingly no–my body had just been so used to it. I didn't realize it until any gains ceased–I admittedly did that all completely wrong and definitely set myself back a significant amount of time in doing so.

It took a considerable amount of time to resolve itself after making the necessary changes and I definitely wanted to give up at times. I think when I found myself at 235 lbs, I just wanted the weight off.

The funny thing is, even when I was at that high of a weight, I wasn't taking much more calories in–I plugged a typical week of pizza, steak, ice cream and Jimmy John's into MFP and I found it was around 2100 calories–but the ratio of carbs/protein/fat was way off.

I'm really liking MFP. Was shocked at how much salt is in prepared food, like a can of soup

40 is right around the corner for me. It's not that I was that out of shape in my 20's, but I didn't lift or exercise at all. With all the partying and eating out, I was your typical slob even though I wasn't fat. Gaining weight has always been an issue for me.

I guess I just want to be in better shape at 40 than 99.9% of the population at any age, which shouldn't be too hard given all the men who give up after marriage or after hitting their 30's. I've been slacking the last year so I need to step it up and get back to form again.

Saw my Daughter's Band teacher yesterday sporting a nice Santa Belly. When he just got out of college and was my Son's band teacher he was fit and trim. I wanted to say "Bro you better stop this now, it's a pain to get rid of all that fat later on."

OGs I made one of the worst decisions for the lulz this weekend

My wife was out of town and I made a joke about doing an LDAR weekend about watching 8 movies by the time and 2 football games over the weekend. Well kept with the bet to prove her that I actually would. Keep in mind, I rarely watch TV. Well I documented it on ********, which people thought was hilarious, and ended up watching 4 football games and the 8 movies.

Now, I feel like complete chit. Raccoon eyes, feel weak and run down, back is killing me, felt nauseated and have had a headache ever since. One of the worst decisions I have ever made for the lulz.

in b4 play stupid games…..

Literally fell like I rotted my brain.

Cheat meal down Boyos, 1455 calories. 1/2 order of wings, salad and french dip. Felt really good starting it, at the end I was like "damn this is a lot of food, whose gonna pay for all this???"

No regrets, but next time I probably won't order an actual entree.
