Screenshots don't do the justice that video does. You want to play this game with ray tracing if you have the power!

CDPR doesn't even need to fix everything on Day 1 to be way ahead of the curve. It's a game of insane scale and they will hammer everything out more quickly than other developers would – I was dealing with game-breaking bugs weeks into playing Borderlands 3 before just shelving it because they were too much

it was the same with the witcher 3. they didn't even fix the quest that was unfinishable for me for months. or in order to finish that quest I had to start a new game

As long as the bugs are funny to an extent I don't mind like I seen a clip of two cops tripping over each other for instance(could have been on purpose I guess) it's getting locked out of quests or losing inventory that are annoying.

Surely on rails stuff like that bike chase scene should be ironed out.

when they do optimize it it's great though. i remember with my gpu, witcher 3 on launch was so laggy…then idk they optimized it… and i could play so smoothly on max graphics on the same gpu

Gamersnexus is saying performance may be better on release copies:

Cyberpunk currently has DRM that is only active for reviewers and is known to reduce performance. Will not be active on launch day

If the day 1 patch is going to better optimize consoles, it's going to better optimize PC gameplay as well. I'm sure PC performance will be at least 20-30% better than those Tom's Hardware benchmarks are showing.

No obsession. I live in Beijing and GoG doesn't work properly here (standard) whereas Steam does and is cheap as hell. CP2077 cost the equivalent of $35 out here on Steam. 90% of new releases are about half the price of Steam US/UK/Other regions which massively works in my favour here using Steam. Not to mention Steam downloaded the preload (nearly 60gb) in about 30 minutes.

Speaking of PC performance, Nvidia is going to undoubtedly do a CP 2077 driver update. Sometimes the game drivers can offer upwards of 10-15% added performance. I think between that and day 1 patch, PC performance won't be as bad as everyone is thinking right now.

Edit: Their absolutely has to be lots of performance to be unlocked with day 1 patch, because those benchmarks aren't even remotely on par with CDPR/Nvidia's recommended specs…

I hope we can turn off all the map markers….. At least initially I wanna turn it all off and just get lost in the city and stumble my way into activities/missions or get completely fkkn wrecked if I accidentally wondered into a higher level area.

There should be an option to filter markers by type. But the problem is that they try to make the map match the game's overall artistic direction and it's a visual mess as a result.

Ghost of sushi is good but very repetitive. It is a beautiful game but trust me when I say repetitive because when I think about it, it is more repetitive than Assassin Creed and I am very srs.

If you can bear that, then it is a nice game with a good combat.

Nvidia drivers are up *******s!!!!!!




edit - holy fuk, installed it, but then i got a black screen that persisted for minutes ….. Rebooted the pc, and everything seems fine now, checked my nvidia panel and it says i have the latest update. Hope everything is fine.
