Honestly, truth be told, driver updates are super easy and it's only gpu drivers that you need to install (not mandatory tho) … I've installed drivers all this time without any hiccups and its a super fast process with no hiccups, except this one time. But yeah, if there is a hiccup, then worst case scenario you do end up having to jump through all sorts of fkkn hoops to get it working, by rerolling to an older drive or what not from what Ive read… But luckily I havnt come across that issue yet.



But still facing crashes on the ps5 tho? fuk. Sony needs to fix this chit asap. I was hoping the latest patch fixed all this. 2020 trolling all of us.

edit - holy fuk, installed it, but then i got a black screen that persisted for minutes ….. Rebooted the pc, and everything seems fine now, checked my nvidia panel and it says i have the latest update. Hope everything is fine.
Which drivers do you mean? Latest one I can see dropped on 02nd December in GeForce Experience and on NVIDIA's site. Those ones aren't optimised for CP2077 I don't believe. Hoping they release a new driver in the coming days.

That's the one. Although I did see something on the GeForce website that says to look out for their Cyberpunk 2077 Game Ready driver, so I'm guessing that will release tomorrow or the next day.

Hmmm …. I see, chit …. My mistake then. Looked at it properly and saw that I had an update due, so I assumed it was for Cyberpunk since I saw the ads on the panel.


Looking at it you're right …. It was for december 2nd and doesnt seem to be anything cyberpunk related. Sorry guys, I got excited for a bit there. Although I had been looking at my panel for a few days now and didnt see any update pop up until I made my post. Either I just completely missed it or it took a while for my pc to register there was an update.

Usually they come out the day the game releases. I would expect the CP driver update tomorrow or Thursday.

I bought the game on GOG Galaxy. Can I delete the GOG app now that i've downloaded the game or do I need it to launch like Origin/Battle.Net/Steam

Yeah I think it works cuz I had Witcher 3 installed via GOG, which i later uninstalled and the game ran just fine, not sure about achievements syncing tho but the client's cloud save features are definitely important just incase you lose or have a corrupt one.


Also that reminds me I came across a site that's selling CP2077 GOG keys for like 25 bucks!

I pretty much do and to be fair if it's not evident the 500 was a joke. Mine has crashed probably about 5 times in the month of heavy use and honestly wouldn't even give it a thought if it weren't for the bricked console reports and the fact buying another one is impossible.

Yea the not being able to get a replacement is the only issue haha. Any updates helped out recently? Or still crashing on occasion

Pour one out for my guy. Requested off for launch, built new pc. 3xxx series, etc. 5900x arrives damaged. Back up 3600x may be causing BSoD. Been troubleshooting for days, RMA’d the RAM. Fresh Install of everything and all new drivers. No luck. Microcenter can’t look at it until Saturday. Poor bastard. Trying to talk him up, telling him that at least it’ll be better patched. Fuuuu for a fallen fellow rotter

This is why I'm pretty much done with PC gaming for the most part. I'll get a good laptop that can run casual games and ps5 for actual gaming.
