Yes you can interchange a 5.56 upper and a 300 blk upper on the same lower.

I mostly shoot subsonic ammo, which is usually regular old FMJ nothing special plinking ammo. So I buy whatever name brand is the cheapest. Mostly Federal, S&B, Ammo Inc. Subsonic 300 blk is NOT known for being accurate. Some brands are better than others. You'll have to experiment with different types to see what you gun likes. Lots of people say S&B subsonic is horrible, but my gun loves it.

For supersonic hunting ammo, my gun is particularly accurate with LeHigh Defense 115 gr controlled chaos.

I haven't shot groups with the DD enough to know what it likes.

Do you:
a.) just not carry the days you visit your parents
b.) take the alternate route that keeps you in your state of CCW but adds 15 min to trip
c.) carry anyway and chance a felony
d.) your a ****ing idiot, just get the CCW for the other state as well

I know my option 'd' makes the most sense. But this particular state is a liberal cuck mess and CCW's take a while. For now, in the interum, what would you do?

It isn't so much of me believing something would ever happen, but more of the principle of consistent carry as a habit.
The answer is self explanatory

Good luck

Be more helpful to know the states in question though

Above all that will depend on your son and you. Don't rush out to teach a 5yo how to shoot a 22 because others can do. Some kids cannot follow verbal directions, but are excellent with written. Gun ranges are highly verbal, for example.

Brownells has good deals on AR parts right now, I'm ordering what I can off of there for my Magpul stuff. My question left is what weight should I use for my A5 buffer tube setup? I think the choices were 3.7 and 4.8 oz? I think I'm going to order a BCM setup, I just need to know which one I should get.

Probably 98% of AR's should be the A5-2 buffer which is 5.3 ounces. This is the middle of the 5 options (four weights in it, the - number is how many of them are tungsten 0-4)

Thank you, I'll look for that weight.

Edit- On BCM's website, I had a choice between 4.7 and 5.6 oz, I choose 5.6 oz.

So I ordered everything except the lower receiver, which I'll get locally, and I need to order a Magpul STR stock. Brownells was sold out of almost every black Magpul stock lol. Too bad, retail is $76 and they had it on sale for $61.

It's a good stock. Great for hunting with its storage. Nice cheek weld etc.

I haven't followed what BCM did with what looks like their own intermediate system that isn't vltor brand. Good on them, though, for finding another improvement to get behind instead of just sitting. Not that the intermediate buffer setup is new or anything, but it's becoming much more common finally

Bless you kind sir, putting the order in now.

Ironically I'm mostly doing it to help with having a longer stock setup, but the design seems to be good for recoil mitigation and helping the operation of a firearm. Worth the upgrade imo.

Looks slick but haven't used it so I can't comment on it specifically. When I'm out hiking or backpacking I use this, and really like it:

I went with the A5 system a while back and it seems good. Most of the uppers I use the most have AGBs so I can't say I notice much difference in recoil. Before I upgraded to the A5 system, what did make a noticeable difference was a muzzle brake/comp. The VG6 is what it was iirc.

And SOLGW makes a 9 position receiver extension compatible with the Vltor A5 springs and buffers. You get more fine adjustments for stock length. I like it a lot.

I had this Form 1 30 cal can approved last year. You just have to put that you're going to acquire the materials to make the silencer after your form is approved using the tools and equipment you have access to. This stamp was originally filed in Nov 21 but got disapproved in the mass denial in Feb. Re-applied and got stamp in July, took 112 days.

There are still a few places to source materials from. All of the places with solvent traps or kits either went F4 or shut down.

That looks very convenient. I've noticed that most stocks like to make fairly large adjustments.

As a Canadian I'm very jealous creeping this thread but I finally got my firearms license late last year and have a few pew pews now and I'm mad I didn't do it sooner.

I also went shooting for the first time ever late last year and had so much fun even though I just had my .308 at that time.

Can't wait to go out again especially when my pistol finally gets to me hopefully in a couple of months.

Are there any other Canadians that post ITT?

Not a lot of Canadians, but one of the mfc members (blumpkin) has some experience with guns and Canadians.

There are still a few places to source materials from. All of the places with solvent traps or kits either went F4 or shut down.

I’m 5, what is this?

A way to get a silencer without the NFA bs? Or you still have to register it? If you do have to register it what’s the difference in not just buying a traditional can outright?

What’s the process of making a solvent trap a silencer?

Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
