Didn't they banned 'tag' in some school in Vancouver? Let's not talk about dodgeball either… That chit was so great. Now there's too many soft kid who can't handle that. That's most kids now I figure. Plus all this soft parenting doesn't help any. Kids learn from being dumbasses. Keeping them locked up and spoonfeeding them their whole life just postpones their independence.
Lol and the car thing, we'd play on this crescent nearby because the street would get a car too often. So you'd be good for 20 minutes or whatever then some innocent dude would come and everyone looks at him all pissed off while we move the nets and **** lol so he can get by.

Yeah ok. For that alone I love you. When I played street hockey it was always hard to find someone willing to be the goalie and when we had one we all chimed in to equip him a bit. I had a habs helmet replica and legs pad, another guy had shoulder and jersey, another had gloves etc.
Wish I could've played on ice with the local team but my family couldn't afford that chit. When they finally could, I was way too old and far behind plus my interest kind of switched elsewhere to compensate. So I became a soccer player lol… What an awful sport.

I know that poor feel, I sacrificed all big Christmas presents and I think Birthday presents too so that I could play ice hockey (That was a big move for a 10-12 yr old).
lol soccer, I was wise beyond my years when I quit playing that after 2 years when I was 8 or 9. I prefer sports that allow the use of hands. I do like the atmosphere of world cups though, that's the only time I watch.

Ya man, I used to play net. Kind of wish I'd done player though but it's history now.
Bro that reminds me I don't think I've seen a single kid play road hockey outside in years. Kind of sad that kids are going to grow up and their childhood memories are going to be video games instead of all the mischief and **** that we grew up with.

Same with the street I grew up on. Used to be kids outside playing street ball, hockey, nerf gun wars, bike races, skateboarding, pretty much every game we could think of and there were like 10+ of us. Now it looks like a ghost town, no body ever outside together.

Same here. Its pretty awful and sad. The only ones I see playing are all 25-26 lol. Occasionally see one kid all alone doing slap shot in his yard but that's it.
No more huge pick up game where people yell ''CAR!'' every 5min and where complete random you don't even know join in to play. We also had a lot of girls standing on the side cheering for us and doing their cheerleading thing it was so much fun. We taught the younger kids how to rollerblade properly too.
Online video games/Internet are pussifying kids.

Strong feel trip going on in here! Guess I'll join in.
Played a fuk ton of street hockey, mostly at my friend's street since mine was on a steep incline which made it chit for hockey. 99% of the time I played goalie, was cocky and never wore upper body protection (outside of mask ofc). Definitely toughened me up. Older brother always took shots on me and tried to aim his slap shots at my unprotected areas. He started with tennis balls, but eventually graduated to lacrosse balls which hurt like a bish. Guess it was his revenge for me always blaming random chit on him. Despite being a sharks fan I couldn't catch their games due to poverty tv selection, and dat der 9pm bedtime, so I could only get my hockey fix through the leafs. CuJo ended up being the guy I looked up to and wore his jersey everytime I played pickup.
Played ice hockey for a few years, couldn't stick handle worth chit and got tired of the early am practices. Ended up quitting when I was 9.
That's all I can say for now, the feels are becoming too much.

My whole street started wearing jersey and gloves while playing. The main reason was because it allowed us to throw our gloves and pull someone's jersey over his head lol. Then you'd rolled away like a boss like during the game you watched the nigh before.
Goalie without gear were the best lmao. Fake slap shot 2feet away for days!

hows everyones weekend going? i'm sitting here thinking i should pick up a hobby or two since i end up doing nothing for 6 hours on weekends before going to work.
was thinking of buying a mountain bike or something. probably more fun to do it with a buddy though. will probably buy a piano in a month, always wanted to learn an instrument and piano is alpha as fuk lol.
dunno what it is with me and handles. i embarrass people in soccer too, can't pass for **** in that either
now i want to go outside and play hockey
what the hell is wrong with us. it's not even kids, even the 18-22year olds or whatever, i swear it's a huge accomplishment when someone sets up basketball because a few people always have to bitch out just because they don't want to come outside. fuk.

I've been super busy, but i've finally got some pics from Chinra that some people were wanting. Pics are pretty big… my bad.
We went for dinner as soon as we landed and I got beer. Surprisingly, this beer was pretty damn good. They don't have pint glasses though, so you had to use the tiny ass cup seen in the pic.
The view from my hotel. It was pretty rainy and overcast…obviously
Most things were served with the head still on the plate. This fish was pretty damn good though.
Chicken Head
I was terrified the whole trip that i'd have a 'Code Brown' and have to use one of these. I was lucky and I didn't have to. Only my hotel room had a toilet. Heathens…
'Chinese BBQ'. This was really good. They cooked the food on a little fire right at the table. Not pictured were the 3 chinamen trying to drink me under the table. They cant handle their booze very good, but they love drinking. That was a fun night.
These things were at the front of one of the restaurants we went to if you wanted to eat one. No idea these things existed, but they're Giant Salamanders and are apparently endangered and illegal to have. Turns out it doesn't matter though because if you get caught the fine is like $6 USD but they sell for $200/KG so not a single fuk is given by the Chinese.
Lold hard. We were at the factory that is going to make our box and apparently they make boxes for dick pumps. Haha just sittin on the desk.

Hiked up a mountain and it was a decent view. It was hot as hell though. Like 30C and SUPER HIGH humidity. I was drenched.
I was disappointed by the Pleasure Ground. It's not what I thought.
This was a street full of fresh caught fish on 1 side, and then when you buy the fish you cross the street and they'll cook it at the restaurant right there. They had so much weird things that i've never seen before.
Derp fish head
Fresh Salmon from the market. Was pretty good.
They're weird and drink their coffee from a can.
Our last night there they took us to this place way out in the country. They cooked the chicken in fire pits in the ground. It was decently good.
At said restaurant, our hosts once again tried to drink us under the table. The bottle is devils piss, or as they call it Chinese Wine. It's some type of grain alcohol and tastes horrible.

Muneyy those pics are pretty awesome. I'm going to try and take a ton of pics when I go to Korea. Not sure how much travel I'll get to do but I do plan on getting some done since I compete early into the trip.
Speaking of which I need to buy a tablet. I have $40 in change which I can turn into an Amazon gift card which can really knock down the price on a tablet.

Those squat toilet actually look way more hygienic than what we have here. At least you don't need to sit on the damn thing. Only thing that would worry me tho is if my pants dropped too low and wind up touching the floor or worst, toilet.
