Everything is green so I think we might get the usual weekend dip. If BTC keeps up this pace it could get to 70k in 1 week 2 max before probably correcting.

ETH at this pac ex that’s somewhat decoupled from BTC may even be $10k end of cycle

The crux of his argument is that cryptocurrency valuations are wrong because they don't produce anything. "At least publicly traded companies produce something of value" argument. This would be valid if you put stocks and cryptocurrencies in the same asset class. Which they aren't from a philosophical perspective as well as the SEC having ruled as such.

And if you want to get into the weeds, ETH does actually provide a service and thus a tangible value via the blockchain.

Going off the audience's reaction, Maher opinion wasn't that well received. Like I mentioned earlier, Doge got a lot of applause. And Maher's rant about cryptocurrencies being made up by nerds and not having any real value didn't have the audience going all in with him. His view on cryptocurrencies is basically that of the majority of his generation. It's impossible for him to fathom why BTC has value without anything backing it. I get the impression the anonymity of the project confuses him, he doesn't understand how/why to trust something without a face. He's clearly in the minority. The rant felt like it was lifted from 2017.
