So ultra settings with ray tracing will be doable at 60FPS with my 3080 at 1440 res. Niiiiiiice.

Looks like the game ready drivers offered a pretty good performance increase over yesterdays benchmarks.

Not sure why people watch stuff like that to spoil themselves.

"spoiler free" is oxymoronic in a way because its literally spoiling every path and option.

Of course it depends on peoples tastes, but I never understood guys that want to use a guide to play a game.

Just figure it out as you go along

Can someone who isn’t retarded explain to me if Gsync is effected by bandwidth? Like if I’m gaming at 4k with HDR. Display port 1.4 can only go to 98hz with those things, but that would still leave Gsync enabled right? My monitor is Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ 4K Gaming Monitor, for reference.

Asking because I was messing around with all the RT in Control and the frames were dropping obv per RivaTuner but I wasn’t noticing it too much in the game. I had forgotten about Gsync because every other game I’ve played so far was over 60fps at 4k. Might save my ass in CP

Gsync works no matter what. You can only go as fast as your monitor though. It will be the most smooth if your fps is more than your refresh rate. IE, 144hz monitor at 100 fps is a waste and could cause tearing, but 100fps on 100hz will be super smooth.

Yeah, thats the down fall of have 32:10 or 21:9, it will hit your graphics card harder.

You are pushing 2x the pixels as what is being benchmarked.
