Cypto recovering with stock market doing same.

Tells you that whether we like it or not stock market has exposure to it (directly/indirectly)

July is gonna be big day if SEC allows btc/eth etf to go up than watch it establish even harder.

^^^

take it back.

FOMC minutes came out

tldr..

need more progressive

no changes

maybe some day in future they might consider pulling slight bit of reduction of asset purchasing.

we are not thinking to even thinking about tapering

For some reason my august $14 strike call on uwmc is up to $0.38 from my $0.25 entry despite the share price being lower than I bought them for. Should I sell them now or keep holding?

UWMC is heavily spammed on wsb.

you know what that means these days.

some hedge is gonna phuck around with retail.

RKT got the same treatment so many posts went up and in turn it went to shiit.

I don't trust anything that gets spammed on wsb anymore.

Yep, jpow spoke, and crypto runs along the s&p more or less now that institutional investors are in so heavy. Whether we like it or not it's becoming more and more regulated.

Could have made a 60% return on doge today lmao.

Nothing really, that's why unless you fundamentally believe in blockchain technology/improvements and bitcoin/ethereum and don't plan to hold for the 5-10 year before expecting profits then swing trading crypto is a gamble. It's why I can't complain when I'm down on my short term positions in things like ethereum classic/litecoin/bitcoin cash, because I don't really believe in them. We are a lot further along with ethereum/bitcoin than we were in 2017 when I believe it was too early. So even if we have a crypto winter soon I don't believe it will dip like it did in 2017.

I continue buying a bit of ethereum and bitcoin when they dip and swing the others when I feel it's somewhat safe.

now lets see if those F calls print tmmrw lmao

price is biggest shock by far.

think ford is gonna sell metric tons of these ev trucks.

$34K with tax credit for 230 miles of range. (taking mach e tested range it will likely do more than that closer to 270 miles)

https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/f150-lightning/2022/

https://www.theverge.com/2021/5/19/2...ck-specs-price

edit: as soon range is released with towing everyone will change their mind (it will be bad just like rivian or cybertruck)

I just want to sell the rip if it happens tmmrw.

I took a pause on day trading for awhile — hit a rough 2 months where I just couldn’t time my calls/puts right. F and GT had been printing for me and then I got a little greedy, went to the well a bit too many times and got smoked. Tried to chase the L’s with SPY puts and lost my other asscheek in about 40 minutes. I’ve stayed away from the meme stocks (outside of GME, which I’ve been holding since the February dip and been averaging up about once a week). Now that I’ve recovered a bit, I may look at some long calls on EV stocks next week. What are you all into at the moment?

It seems people are overall feeling very negative about the markets

On the other hand, the major players seem to be having a lot of fun right now lol.

Yeah, I'm very bullish on oil but I think I need to offer some balance here.

I don't expect oil to go below ~$61 but I estimate the current bottom to be about $57. If it goes there, you will be able to enter some oil positions and it should come back up to ~$60 very quickly. I'd say the current top is about ~$66.5 but oil should blow past that this summer and be able to sustain higher prices for a while.

Outside of another pandemic, I cant think of many ways oil loses. 2021 should be a good year but it would be a lot better if government didn't delay things like schools reopening and ending extra unemployment benefits. I think 2022 will be an especially good year.

imho Ford hit the nail ON DA HEAD… nobody is going to chose an ev f150 if the price is the same to the reg f150 (specially that user base) but if the price is THAT juicy then I'm sure people will AT LEAST give a test drive.

Personal opinion: it does look f'ing awesome and 4 and change 0-60 could be a ton of fun on back roads and such lol

edit: damn digging the "generator" capabilities too - specially living in the coast when big storms and power outages are the norm
