The lightning price range is nuts. $39k - $91k (will probably be even more at official launch). That 39k option will be hella basic and will most likely be a flop.

Initial jobless claims inbound shortly . . .

Actual: 444,000
Estimated: 450,000

New pandemic low, but pretty much what was expected.

^^^^^ thanks Joe?

look how all numbers are within +/- 20% (most of the time 5-10%)

still fishy to me that we missed the april job report "Nonfarm payrolls that month rose by 266,000, a fraction of the 1 million-plus job adds that Wall Street anticipated"

I work for banks and if modeling/analyst prediction team(s) are off by THAT much… they will ALL be fired by the end of the week

interesting.

will this survive next CPI numbers and JPow in 2.5 weeks

of course SPY could bet $425 before June if buyers come back

Ok so so day so far. I want to rotate out of some of the tech plays and get into some reopening things (like AAL for example or not tech). So im thinking cutting my losses on ARKG at least from the list below of what i hold. Thots?

ARKG
TSLA
AAPL
AMZN
FRT
PENN

I think FRT and PENN give me some good "alternate" exposure. So maybe clear the ARKG on a good up day (since it basically trades in lock step with TSLA) and split it between FRT and PENN?

Abzu talking about oil continuing to run tho so who knows.
I'd for sure be diversified in the dividend stocks if you got oil you'll want the other half to be something else like telecommunications etc. Still think MO is a good one too.

Probably wouldn't be a bad time to trim. I'm hanging onto it though. This company has stupid upside potential and I think large banks/lenders will adopt the platform. There's also a solid chance this company will be bought for billions. Found this interview with the founder from a couple months ago. It's worth a watch:

TONS of potential with UPST. They can pull a Jack Dorsey (SQ), and just start fanning their lending prowess into different markets (stonks, crypto, retirement planning, blah blah blah) OR they will be bought and killed by a big bank.

The fact they went public in the first place tells me they have much bigger plans for themselves as opposed to just selling shop at this point.

Q1 2021 revenue growth is 81.97%… Yeah I'm not selling THAT lol.

It would take a monstrous catastrophe for them to lose momentum at this point.
