my 2060 has been redeemed … 18080p dlss most settings on high, rtx minimum and it looks phenomenal. Dlss is some wiardry, didnt really notice any visual differences going from 1440p to 1080p other than a huge bump in perofmrance, but this is all in confined settings so far, im not sure how things will go once they set me out into the wild.

a couple enemy bug and a random visual bug quirks, but other than that feels playable, looks great, runs great.



Might go from corpo to nomad though. didnt really dig the nomad story.

So I did the Scavs mission stealthily, and this happened:

Just lol @ anyone who was worried the city wouldn't be dense. There's tons more people behind me in this pic as well.



This isn't even the busiest I have seen it in another section before I thought to take a pic. Also, when you go into photo mode, for some reason it actually deletes some of the foot traffic. Not sure what the reason is, if it's not so the pic is so cramped, etc or what. But there's more than this pic shows.



None of the trailers really showed the insane sense of scale as far as how big the city is like when you're really in it.

What are the requirements for turning on HDR? On a HDR TV connected to PC via HDMI “Ethernet enabled” cable.

Inventory system, crafting and merchants are pretty much a reskin of Witcher 3 with some improvements lol. Seems overwhelming at face value but if you played TW3 before they fall into place very quickly.

Holy **** at this game with raytracing , looks like a movie, 4 hours into corpo, talking with these two babes just hnnnggg at the night club. Its beatufil, I have no idea what frames Im running at but it feels good. everything at ultra with dlss performance.

Also I turned off HDR, looks better without for me for some reason. The colors pop more.

Been trying to play for 2 hours, crashes every few minutes, and with no quick save and auto save being trash it's led to minimal progress. Still trying to talk to Jackie in the bar…

Tried turning off overlay, updated everything, ect. No luck.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

update ur drivers srs. i had that issue. just updated my drivers and issue was fixed instantly no crashes or fps issues. i'm playing smoothly on ultra on a vega 64

0 crashes or gamebreaking bugs in 3.3 hours of play. The worst thing I experience was the weapons an enemy was holding froze in the air when he ran by and an enemy ragdoll physics goofing a bit. Otherwise, if this game isn't GOTY across the board, it just reinforces mainstream videogame media is trash.

My initial thoughts, it reminds me of a bunch of different videogames

-Skyrim (open world, listening on dialogue to pick up a quest, first person etc)
-Observer (you'd understand if you played it, street kid intro quest)
-Shadowrun (without the magic)
-GTA (driving/wanted etc)


Overall I'm absolutely loving it, it's hard to fathom there hasn't been a cyberpunk/sci fi game like this or maybe they are just so bad i can't recall any. The montage with Jackie for streetkid after you finish the initial quest is just awesome, extremely well done. Graphics are absurd, quests are intriguing, music is ****ing sweet and the world is interesting and at 3 hours I haven't even scratched the surface. Can't wait to play more!
