i wouldn't be surprised. I bought a cheap sorc torch from this chinese guy who was selling like 10 of them. I was thinking maybe this guy is a chinese bot and maybe the torch he was selling was duped.

If it is ... oh well. I only paid a Gul and an Um for a 14/10 which is a pretty good deal. Even the lowest of sorc torches sell for a Vex minimum on non-ladder.

you should come back, they did a whole bunch of updates with mercs, tweaking certain skills/builds. It wasn't anything too earth shattering as far as the meta but FoHdins are definitely a thing now, lightning and hydra sorcs got buffed, you can make a cool throw barb, fire or summon druid.

mercs got buffed so Act 5 barb is actually viable and even Act 1 merc for niche builds. Not heard much about Act 3 but the lightning sorc has static field for bosses so there's that.

Hopped on for the first time in three weeks, did like 4 trav runs and a Ber dropped. Next day did some more Trav runs and a Vex dropped. Crazy luck. Made a HOTO, and now I have the motivation to grind for an Enigma now and deck out a Hammerdin for Chaos.

Yeah, still play it about 30 minutes to an hour almost every night to wind down. Just MFing. Found my first Griffon's Eye in the pits. Just need to find 2 bers and I can make a nova sorc.

yup, I maybe play an hour each day on the weekdays and 2 hours each day on the weekends. i'm just mainly chilling, MFing different areas or creating a new character/build and soloing through hell. I'm not hardcore into it, I'm just going at it at my own pace and having fun. I do eventually want to make an enigma. I had a Ber drop a month ago but sold it for like 30 ists so I could get torches and gear for my other characters as well as skiller charms. I put like 6 ists into a phase blade and 4 ists into a Monarch as well haha.

now the grind for a Jah and a Ber begins. I also want to get an Infinity and a Griffons.

I fukked up majorly by finally getting this. Used to play a ton of Diablo 1 and 2 back in the day. Don't really have time to play anymore but thought hey, I have a Switch. Why not give it a try for old times sake? I'll play it an hour here and there or when I'm on a plane...

Fukkin addicted IMMEDIATELY. When that music kicked in, I knew I was a goner. These old games were masterpieces and I haven't even touched online. Playing it the way I did back in the day, clearing every map, picking up every fukkin thing, running to town every two minutes to sell chit. Das it mane.

Yesterday I did my first ever Ubers after playing D2 off and on for 20 years. A 19/12 Ptorch dropped for my first ever torch acquired myself. Feels good man.

Used my Hammerdin for it. 1 point in smite 1 point fanaticism.I did for a few weeks before D2R came out. Is it a big player base? I’m too invested into D2R to jump ship to another D2 at this point. After all the times I’ve started playing again, this is the furthest along I’ve ever been.

i'd play PD2 if they somehow incorporated as a mod of D2R

Got pretty much everything i need. Traded for a Griffons and then a few days later found a 5/5 Lightning facet to put in it. Feels good man.

Just have to build my Infinity now. Grinding hard for these two Bers.

Is there an easy website to sort of see items value as far as trades, etc? A lot of times I find chit that I think might be decent, but I'm not familiar with so I just sell it when I might be selling something more valuable than just scrapping.

traderie has a nicer interface. you can check past trades to see what people gave for what. not always accurate, but should give you an idea. rare stuff can be a bit more difficult to price, especially things like 3 res + 30% run boots, circlets, etc.

however there is a larger chance that alot of chit you find that seems good are chit

some stuff that may be valuable

tri res boots with faster run walk, or just tri res are great, or if it has some MF on it
+2 skills/20% attack speed gloves, bonus points for resists
+ traps/+skills/+lightning sentry claws
eth armors with enhanced defense and low str reqs, or just ED armors with low reqs bc people like to make enigmas
dual leech rings with fcr and resists, or what is called 5 or 6 point rings
circlets with +2 to skills and 20 FCR, bonus points for sockets and resists
small charms with max rolls on max damage with life, attack rating and another roll
many +skill charms, worth a lot more if it has life or max damage rolls/attack rating
charms with all res, MF with some other useful rolls


you'll notice alot of chit is phucking useless unless it gets a combination of desired stats, and/or they are rolled near/at max. you need to know what stats people look for on each type of item, what combination of stats can roll and are sought out and how high they can roll. there's also chit people use for low level dueling that can be oddly very valuable, like certain low level requirement jewels that add max damage and high resists.

also people buy low level runes. keep all of your rals. I think 20-25 of them can net you a mal/ist. people buy "spirit packs" to make the spirit rune word. that's tal/thul/ort/amn + hel. Those are valuable. People also may buy sols/nefs/eths. Keep all flawless and perfect gems. 40-50 perfect gems will net you an ist on the market. but keep your perfect amethysts separate, 15 of them are worth an ist and 30-35 rubies also an ist.
