Spent all day out in the rain and cold today. All my stuff is soaked, I'm cold, sore and tired.

How was everyone's Friday?

I just spent 30 minutes in an MRI machine. Your day sounds worse than mine.

On an unrelated note, I just rewatched all the Rambo's tonight and something just occurred to me while watching the third one. Stallone was 42yo for fuk sake.

Fortis Fitness is east side of downtown. Not pure Olympic lifting but has full all the stuff.

Kanama High Performance probably has the best coach. It's in the Toronto/Scarborough border.

Academy of Lions. Don't know about this one but it's downtown on Ossington

There is another gym in the Mississauga/Oakville area forget them name.

Really there are not many options. A lot of these places are all "classes" or all turning into crossfit gyms with WOD's or just closing down.

I'm not worried about anything serious, I just want to get the spinal tap over with and go home with my eyes working properly. It's almost golf season and I tried hitting a golf ball with my current eye situation. That didn't go good. So I'm gonna need my eyes soon.

eyes are overrated. who needs them anyway…

If you can't just feel the ball and club as they exist in time and space… then maybe you shouldn't be playing at all… Golf is just instinct and luck… right? RIGHT? idk. I've never played before….

Thanks for the really thorough reply! I'll take a look into them.

I hear ya, the majority of places that offer Olympic lifting are crossfit gyms and I'm not sure how legit their Olympic lifting experience is. Prefer to learn from someone who specializes in Olympic lifting.

guys. i started running even with my broken knees.

i did 8.5 km or so over 3 days. i was fine when i just jogged a mile or two on one day, tried intervals with a friend next day and that made my knees hurt so i think i'm gonna stop with that.

gonna order a foam roller too. borrowed my friends for a bit, really helped when the knees would start hurting. i think a few weeks of bodyweight squats and stretching and rolling and whatnot and i should be able to do legs again

god damn i am excite

never doing leg extensions ever again lmao

think im gonna start doing hamstring curls at the gym a few times a week to build up to actual leg days again. those and the pussy machine for the hips probably.

4 Sets Heavy Squat
3x12 Legs curls
6x12 hip abductor machine (both in and outward)
6x12 Calves extensions.

That my current leg routine for when my Quad tendon started giving me troubles. I had to get rid of legs extensions (fuk those) and leg press (big loss lulz).

i'll try that when i get back into squats. for a few more weeks i just want to work on building a bit of strength with the bodyweight stuff, restrengthening the hams with the curls and in general mobility and flexibility in the whole lower body region.

i seriously gotta cut too. if i was to estimate, i probably have close to 40 lb to lose srs. injuries are one thing, but i'm sure being 20% bodyfat isn't helping the knees at all.

yea definitely try and ease yourself into it slowly, never try and push through a injury, even if you feel fine take it slow, maybe use light weight added to bodyweight squats like weighted vest or doubells or kettlebell.

anyone have any experience with blending/juicing veggies and stuff? was thinking of grabbing a nutri bullet or something and making a shake every morning.

yeah for sure, don't have the kettlebells so probably just going to use those barbells that people use for curls until i can build upto 100lb or so, then probably switch back to actual barbells.

lotta leg muscle to re build.. i have great leg genetics so even after 1.5 years of no legs + sh*t diet i still have big legs but damn, i miss having tree trunk quads
