Not trying to make light of it but what you have been through with the cancer and the jaw surgery is a good angle for a youtuber, it is a point of differentiation and people will respond to that I think. It seems to be the way that once you reach a tipping point the momentum picks up and you will pick up a heap more subscribers, success breeds success.

Regardless brother, it is such a breath of fresh air to see someone with an attitude like yours - keep spreading the positive energy mate
damn bro hit me right in the feels with this post

first off, yes you're right, it was a conscious decision to become more of a positive person.. before the cancer I definitely used to be a lot more negative in a lot of ways

it still pops up it's head every now and then, being from belgium i was raised in a very conservative manner and especially when it comes to relationships and girls I really had to check myself and make some mental adjustments.. basically you could say I used to look at life like most of the misc do

"if i cant be the ****ing man ima be angry and depressed"

"ow she dont want me? **** her then, she's a slut"

"ow she does want me? she's too easy, **** her"

my ego used to be my biggest enemie.. and was my downfall in a lot of situations

this the type of **** that I'm really not proud off... I still need work done but I feel I'm maturing and evolving with age, step by step

funny enough, having this ego has allowed me to overcome looking the way I do, even when strangers treat me ****ty and stare at me etc... I like to live by "perception is reality" as a motto... and I've learned that the biggest thrill of satisfaction I get is from picking others up and making them feel good.. I used to be so self-centered and now when I see a fat girl walking down the street I get all emo and feel the need to say something nice to her, uplifting in a way... like .. "hey look at me, im ****ed, but its ok, life is ****ing great if you can accept who u are"

damn im kinda ranting in this bitch, anyway, thank u bro

thing is my case of cancer is extremely rare so I'm a unique case which makes it very hard for plastic surgeons to work on me... everything to do on me is document and recorded in case studies because they've never had a patient of my age with this condition

but yeah to answer your question, I'm hoping medical tech will drastically improve in the future and they'll be able to make me look pristine again one day.. I always joke with my friends "I'ma look so damn good when I'm 40"
Have you tried contacting them docters on the show botched? it's terry dubrow and Dr Nassif. Theyre extremely good at fixing scaring, doing reconstructions etc etc. Maybe they could help you out and possibly improve on a few places that they could where you have scaring etc? Also it would be huge publicity for you to be on a national show watched by millions world wide to drive them to your youtube channel. You should look into it brah.

Anyways if you dont try and reach out to them goodluck with everything anyways man, takes a true soldier to just say fuk it and focus on the positives.

Your brains chemical balance is probably on point and had always been healthy. Means you're producing a decent amount of serotonin and dopamine which gave you a really good chance of recovering mentally. I have to admit tho, to be able come through what you've been through and live a fulfilling life is very impressive but i've seen many similar cases that have inspired me and made my problems seem very small in comparison. Did it ever help me overcome my crippling depression and SA? Nope. It just made be pity myself less because i know there are those out there who have had it much worse so what right do i have to feel aggrieved? It still doesn't do anything for my mental issues which i believe are down to some serious chemical imbalances in my brain. I feel practically dead inside most of the time even when i have no reason to be.

damn bro u gave me cold chills with this post.. u feel dead inside? why? help me understand please

and I used to battlle depression in highschool all the time.. felt insecure, was affraid lots of times... I would feel the need to isolate and go be in my room

beginning of college, first year was terrible.. I found a way to deal with this was reading books and identifying with the main characters.. same with tv shows.. I used to watch Dexter religiously and convinced msyself I was like him, a freak, a psycho, some dark creature....

after this I discovered sopranos and I tried to emulate anthony soprano

after a while I realised this wasn't who I was, so I stop trying to be all hard, admitted to myself that I'm a very sensitive and emotional human being and things have gone better and better ever since

I used to have this image of having to be a very hard, masculine man, .. and a side of me still is.. but I'm definitly way more in touch with my soft side now, and it feels good

i realise this **** sounds gay af.. but it is what it is

tell me more about this chemical **** tho, where'd u found about this?
