Did you get the CMC trigger?

It's the best .380 you can get. And it's cheap, so get one. I have had pretty much every other .380 made including Colt Pocketlite, S&W Bodyguard, Beretta Pico, Kahr CW380, and Seecamp and none came close to my LCPs. It will run anything perfectly including 99g HST which is equal to 38 special in muzzle energy, and neither of my LCPs have ever had a problem. The only thing I don't like about it is that the slide doesn't lock back on the last round. I'll probably get an LCP II soon, which does lock back and has a better trigger. Go with that for a few bucks more.

I'm pretty much always either carrying a Shield or an LCP right now, but the Shield is much, much bigger than an LCP. If you think you can pocket carry a Shield then you'll forget you're carrying the LCP. Good in liberal sh!thole cities that are very gun-unfriendly.

@DualRectifier, I didn't get the CMC Trigger just yet. They are selling it for $190 for civilians, $145 for LEO. I'm trying to see if I can get it cheaper than $160 so I'm getting my military bud to check.

If not then I can still take advantage of the sale and get 15% off.

Not pleasant to shoot, and not a target pistol. Great for concealment in gym shorts etc, carry mine a lot in the summer. Have two one for me one for the wife, both have been very reliable.

What do you guys put the gun in when you pocket carry?
Neoprene sleeve?
Something thinner?
...your pocket?

The gym shorts thing is the only reason I'd ever carry one. The LCP is fine, but I don't want to carry anything less than 9mm and my XDS in a minimalist holster appendix carry is small enough and fast enough to put on that I'd never consider using a pocket. Way faster to draw too.

Ive tried everything from sleeve holster to Techna clip with trigger guard block thing made of kydex. Settled on a small kydex holster. I think I have CYA and a Concealment express. Both are about equal. If you pocket carry in gym shorts it will swing around and print. If you clip the kydex holster to waistband its light enough to stay put and you cannot see it even with a tight shirt. best of all you can still draw without it coming off of the shorts even with pretty solid retention adjustment.

I carry one every time I need to deep conceal.

I looked at all pocket guns and this one wins easily.

I have an LCP Custom with a Galloway trigger, stainless steel guiderod and nice sites from the factory. The trigger pull is short and nice, far better than stock trigger and the sites are actually usuable unlike on the base model. I then upgraded the recoil springs to 13lb and it tamed it down to being fairly easy to shoot instead of like smacsing your hand with a hammer.

Pretty dumb because I feel like I have to give myself an equal or lower rating than what I expect to get so I don't look like a dikhead.

Would buy. Even though I probably like the gen4 more than gen5. My LGS has it for sale for $455 but no deals on sights.

Does anyone even notice the U notch compared with the square? Only tried the U once and didn't notice much, but some guys swear it's better
