I agree thats why Ironman was a risks but it paid off were unlike DCEU, Kevin Feige had the first 10 years planned out since day 1. He most likely has the next 10 planned out as well.

Tbh I wasnt on the MCU bandwagon up until civil war. I thought every Marvel movie was just a generic superhero one off. But whenever my buddies and I would go to the movies too see these, I never understood why everyone would stay post credits. It wasnt until then I saw that everything ties in and it isnt a one off or trilogy like most super hero movies.

Eventually I saw everything after civil war and when IW came out, it blew my mind. Saw all 18 prior to it. And its crazy how MCU has the details, easter eggs and character development down to pat.

Honestly, I thought GOTGs were chit. Thor 3 was the best of the Thors. Winter Soldier was great, but I think Civil War edged it out slightly. Civil War is my favorite film in the Marvel cinematic universe and I'm a pretty big comic fan (in general) too.

But to be clear - I'm not raging here - I'm saying that Infinity War was cheapened by being made into a movie that served in part to set up the launch of the Captain Marvel integration. I get that they did this with BP in Civil War, but the movie didn't really hinge on that. Now with the end of Infinity War...well, let's hope I'm really wrong about what Captain Marvel entering the fray means. And beyond this, I believe that the actress' behavior is relevant, lest this become a Netflix set or wherever it is now that if you look at someone for longer than x seconds it can be construed as harassment.

Trailer gave away pretty much nothing which I like, however the constant (every 6 seconds) "hooooing" was beyond fuking annoying. Like who scored this trailer, a whale?

lol'd at her punching the Grandma, people who don't know that the Granny is clearly a Skrull going to talk some dumb chit.

Civil War would be an ensemble movie, whereas WS wasn't. I agree that CW was better, but i was pointing out the stand alone movies can hold their own weight, when done correctly.

I understand the point you are making, I would disagree with it on one point. Hes working, so that does constitute harassment. Other than that, if it were a fellow passenger I would agree that its an overreaction on her point and it really is unless theres more to the story, which i doubt since she didn't say there was. Hes working though, shes a customer, its harassment. Not something he should get terminated for, but his bosses should have a discussion with him about it

Her strength is near Hulk level, who is widely regarded as the strongest in Marvel, stronger than Thor. Add in that she has flight, energy absorption and blasts and is somewhat invulnerable and her powers would be near Supes level. Supes has the flight, speed, energy beams but is also stronger than Hulk

That’s something I’ve always loved about Tim Burton’s first Batman movie. I like how Batman was already around at the beginning of the movie. Like he was already established. They have his origin. But it’s done in flashbacks later on in the movie.

I think it’s be cool if one of the Marvel movies did something like that. It almost looks like this Captain Marvel movie could do something like that. With her remembering her origin as the story progresses.

They have, with Thor, Spider-Man (Homecoming), Panther, although the last 2 were in ither movies before their own, they still had powers in those movies as well. This looks similar in the vein she has powers to start the movie, I'm assuming and will start remembering her life on earth as the movie goes on.

The origin story is difficult to nail, Nolan did it well with Batman Begins, most others haven't.

So is she an actual alien in this movie instead of a being a human woman who got the original Captain Marvel's powers?

I haven't been keeping up with comics since they went full SJW, so this is new to me. Back when she was Ms. Marvel she was only Rogue level in strength and speed (since that's where Rogue got her powers). The original Captain Marvel wasn't that strong either.

Anyways, I like comic book movies as much as the next guy, but the Marvel wanking is getting a little extreme here. They made plenty of mediocre movies, though they never went full chit like Suicide Squad--Iron Man 2 and 3, the Hulk movies, Age of Ultron, Thor 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, etc.

Shes human, her dna fuses with Jude Laws dna in an explosion. I believe she tries to shield him in the comics, and they fuse.

Rogue only has a fraction of her powers, to my knowledge. If not, then yes, shes way more powerful now, probably via retcon which comics do from time to time

So the Skrulls either want to replicate the Kree's experiments or use their experiments against the Kree.

Who in the MCU has power? Who is continually trying to control the super heroes? Who has been the biggest pain in the ass?

Thunderbolt f*cking Ross.

It would make the whole Hulk story arc make sense if Thunderbolt is a skrull. He wants Hulk, to study because Banner figured out a way to replicate the Kree's experiments with gamma radiation. This of course would mean no Red Hulk, but still would be crazy how it would make sense.

Speaking of the Skrulls, too bad that Super Skrull probably won't be in this. Think Fox still has the rights to the character.

Comics-wise, it doesn't even make make sense. Captain Marvel had no role in the original story. Would've made more sense to put Warlock in there, but Warlock doesn't have a vagina.

I always thought Hulk was the strongest. I just watched thor 3 and in the arena thor, without his hammer, was phucking hulk up. Maybe hulk would have won without buddy tampering but, it wasnt a blowout like i assumed it would be. thor was winning.

They’ve pussified hulk to A)give everyone else a chance and B) to milk more money out of us with more movies. World war hulk, hulk in a complete rage, etc would decimate just about anyone on either side of the comic book universe. They’ve basically forgot about him as a standout superhero. He hasn’t had a movie since ed Norton which was a decade ago. It’s complete bullchit how they’ve done him.

Disney is about to acquire fox so or FF4 in a few years. I don’t know why they even teased warlock without even using him. I know they said they needed to make a movie specifically for him for exposition but fuk, you don’t tease like that with the person who’s supposed to be the real protector of the soul stone.
