Reminds me of a time in high school. I went to a nice high school with mostly rich white kids, and we had one Spanish teacher who was one of the whitest black men I have ever met (as in Carlton from Fresh Prince white, not light skinned). One time in class, some idiot white kid got caught making a doodle of the teacher getting lynched with the N word written across it. He was made to apologize in front of the entire class. Looking back, it was pretty impressive how the teacher didn't lose his chit.

Teacher would never have needed to resort to physical assault if the school's disciplinary machine was working and active. All across the country, politicians are removing school's power to discipline unruly students in the name of PC and "anti-racism" drive.

What attitude? I actually have nothing against spanking kids and punishing them. I don’t think a grown man should be laying his hands in that manner on a teenager, especially when it’s the kids teacher..it just looks foolish. That man lost his temper over some kid...that’s not alpha or cool..and I don’t feel pity for him. There’s nothing more silly than seeing grown ass adults battling out with people much younger than them.

The living in a bubble attitude you presented. While the teacher made a mistake, you seem to miss what its like to be a teacher in a poor neighborhood with kids like this. You can make these idealistic statements but the reality is the kid got his face, kept calling him a nukka and the teacher got sick of it. Think its easy for you and others to monday morning QB and act like they'd be different. I also don't think you or many others understand what these schools are like whatsoever.

Beating children? He was 14 and using a racial slur like he was grown. Y'all acting like the teacher whooped a 5 year old or something.

I remember threads covering the knockout game with teens his age. The misc was pretty stern on throwing them in adult jail and getting equal justice aka punch to the face.

IDK man. That kid probably needed his @ss whooped, but teacher is going to lose it all over his emotions. If I can keep my composure while being drunk and having some idiot do the same to me saying "its not worth it" and walk away, teacher should have did the same.

Disappointed in teacher for not having a low key convo with the kid and schooling him on some good will hunting shyte.

Side note, kids are terrible now a days. No one does a damn thing, just want a video on social media

I don't understand how people think it's okay to let kids get away with things like this without pulling their head in line. Some kids need a good dose of reality and simply walking out of the room to write up a detention slip isn't going to do jack chit.
