Anyway, if you are concerned about the potential health risks of 5g, LINE YOUR HOUSE WITH ALUMINUM FOIL. SRS. It will 100% defeat (or substantially reduce) any such "harmful radiation". This also works for phones. Don't want the government to track you? Wrap your phone in a couple of layers of tightly wrapped aluminum foil. Boom. Faraday cage, son.

i state these as questions because i dont know the details of 5G signal transmission, but do you see the potential for danger under the right circumstances?
The high intensity could potentially heat tissue. It won't be ionizing radiation, but the heating could cause secondary effects. This is the idea behind the ADS energy weapon. The intensities from the cell towers are nowhere near what is needed for such a weapon. And it's a good thing too because otherwise, they'd be rolling out drone cops with pain lasers. And yeah, the way things are going, that could seriously be a thing one day. BRB jaywalked and therefore got zapped by a pain laser.

Beta when asked to cite studies about 5G hurting people, you linked a study on Microwaves which are over 300GHz while 5g is in the range of 25-90GHz. I don't care either way of this argument but actually link the correct stuff

-and how much energy those photons have.

The sole thing determining #2 is the frequency of the EM wave.

So basically, if your photons are at X frequency, and you have Y number of them, and X * Y is less than the ionization energy for that atom, you're not going to ionize anything.

RF photons are at a very low energy - they're about a million times less ionizing than your lightbulb FFS - so unless you make it up in gigawatts or terawatts of volume, RF will never be able to ionize an atom. It can in theory, but it's near impossible to do in practice.

X-rays and nuclear radiation are ionizing, which is why you have to limit exposure to them, because each of those photons are about a hundred billion times more effective at ionization than cell towers.

i hear ya man. i would think that radiation heat transfer even if non ionizing could still inflict harm. i mean, holding a lighter on your skin isnt ionizing, but its still causing harm.

inb4 thats convective heat transfer, not radiation heat transfer.

Radiation heat transfer can definitely cause harm even without ionizing radiation...by heating the tissue. But the intensities of these radio towers are pathetic compared to what would be needed. This is kind of like people freaking out over a small amount of poison in their food. As long as the effective concentration of the poison is below some threshold value, it is basically completely safe. You wouldn't see a noticeable effect until longer than your lifetime of constant sampling. Similar goes for 5g. It's basically completely safe. The plastic pipes we use for water are probably more dangerous to our health than 5g is.

If this is true why do some countries refuse to have 5g? This isnt all just conspiracy theorists saying its bad, its actual governments and communities.

Just people making popular decisions. It really is a bunch of people misunderstanding the science. There are also reasonable privacy concerns, as beta has pointed out. A person might accept 5g as safe, but reject the tech on privacy grounds.

My problem is when people scream about 5g being somehow unsafe. That's dumb. The privacy argument is a good one that holds merit. The one about it being harmful to health is mostly backed by pseudoscience and a profound lack of understanding of how radiation interacts with tissue.

Show me one guy with a background in E&M/Optics who thinks 5g is dangerous. Srs.

im not convinced.

whats the total radiation intensity that were surrounded by? not just one individual radio tower, but also everyones cell phones, wireless routers, military signals, and who knows what else. even AC current gives off electromagnetic radiation, because you are accelerating charged particles, this gives off electromagnetic radiation.

how is that net intensity going to change when they put 5G towers up every couple hundred feet? and what is the cumulative effect of all of these sources of electromagnetic energy over the course of a lifetime?

look, im not saying lets destroy all electrical devices and live like its 1000 AD. Im just saying i dont think its a good idea to continue to up the amplitude of environmental e&m radiation higher and higher.

Whether it is harmful to health or not, the privacy reasons alone should be more than enough reason to rise up against it.

More importantly wave energy is proportional to the square of the wave amplitude and as a result amplitude is in 99% of cases the controlling factor.

We encounter radiation everyday that is orders of magnitude higher frequency than 5g yet dont experience side effects because their amplitude is relatively low.

It's not significant. Think about it. You need all those towers because the signal attenuates so hard in most materials. So, you're really only exposed to a low level wherever you are. We are exposed to radiation ALL THE TIME. Like literally all the time. Not all radiation is dangerous or matters. You're exposed to even a low baseline level of extremely dangerous radiation, such as gamma rays, when you go outside or eat a banana. But it's not in enough intensity to really do significant damage to you.

You should be more concerned about pollution and heating from fossil fuels than heating from 5g lol. That's fuking things up a lot faster.

I can think of a few. I listed them earlier. Less crime, such as drug dealing, kidnapping, etc. Perhaps counseling to prevent suicides. Reduced incidence of terrorism. Perhaps if a person is injured, help can be dispatched immediately...There are some pluses.

Minuses are of course a lack of privacy and freedom and the possibility of a privileged class of government elites abusing and controlling everyone.

Definitely not about to watch multiple hours of "independent researchers" talking about 5g & the conspiracy about escaping technology, but I will say a lot of people are going to be in for a reality check when earth CONTINUES to go through its cycles due to the sun which currently we will be experiencing getting worse until 2025 according to occult astrology, technology is the only thing that can save humanity as mother nature does not give a single **** about any human life & this is why the "elites" believe in population control and technology because when history repeats itself and the catastrophes start happening all at the same time in different parts of the world, they will be the ones who see it coming, have the technology to escape and to survive.

5G is at the bottom of the pyramid for things to come and people fear what they dont understand, just as people believe chem trails are bad when its been used to slow the planet changes that are SUPPOSED to be happening that are starting now.

As of 23 April, more than 251,000 people – including tens of thousands of physicians, physicists, medical researchers, and public health officials, as well as officials of several thousand scientific and health-related organizations – have signed an international appeal titled“Stop 5G on Earth and in Space.

The appeal “urgently call[s] for a halt to the deployment of the 5G wireless network, including 5G from space satellites. 5G will massively increase exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation [which] has been proven harmful for humans and the environment. The deployment of 5G constitutes an experiment on humanity and the environment that is defined as a crime under international law.”

The appeal is addressed to “the UN, WHO, EU, Council of Europe, and governments of all nations.”

https://www.5gspaceappeal.org/the-appeal

A report from the U.S. National Institutes of Health found a significant rise in instances of brain cancer and a rare kind of cancer that grows in the nerves around the heart among rats under prolonged EMF exposure.

- Researchers at Egypt’s Menoufiya University found that “inhabitants living near mobile phone base stations are at risk of developing neuropsychiatric problems and some changes in the performance of neurobehavioral functions.”

- A study from Turkey’s Marmara University shows that exposure to EMFs can reduce the body’s production of nitric oxide, a key compound that lets cells communicate with each other.

- Lengthy exposure to EMFs before birth can lead to a greater chance of children being born with autism-spectrum disorders, scientists at Arabian Gulf University report.

- Radio frequency radiation damages trees close to mobile phone base stations, according to a study involving scientists at the Spanish National Research Council and Pompeu Fabra University.

Volume doesn't matter. That X * Y thing I posted was bunk. Only a single photon can eject electrons and only it has high enough energy; you can bomb an atom with a billion low-energy photons and it will never ionize it.

RF is incapable of ionizing any atom at any volume or wattage.

Everyone's talking about radiation when the real danger is Skynet.
They got little baby legs that stand so low
you got to pick 'em up just to say hello.

srs question for the 5G tinfoil bros -

The "mischievous secret society" that are apparently behind the mass deployment of 5G are also living ON EARTH. Their families are living here. Friends, etc.

Why the fuk would they introduce this supposedly harmful tech when they would be putting themselves and their families at risk? or they all plan to walk around the country in radiation-proof hazmat suits?

Unless they all plan on moving to Mars, which has a .350% chance of happening, and to say that "they" are going ahead with the deployment of 5G while being exposed to it themselves sounds ludicrous.

I've seen cell tower amplifiers operating up to 200 watts. They typically operate under 100W. AN/SPY-1 used on many Navy ships operates in the Megawatt range (that is in the millions of watts). This thing will fry your phone in a heartbeat if you step out far enough on deck. Same with the AN/SPG-62 which is a narrow beamwidth fire control radar. I have put my hand in the beamwidth while over 100 ft away from the antenna and it felt like my hand was in an oven. Transmitter output power is certainly not the only factor, but it's an easy way to determine baseline risk. HF and low VHF (2 - 300 MHz) are the most dangerous frequencies to humans in the radio spectrum. They penetrate the body most easily. 5G has a wide frequency range but I think it could be as low as 700 MHz but should mostly be above 2 GHz. I think they're rolling out the 2nd range which is up in the 24 GHz range.

According to the "research", the only risk of non-ionizing radiation is due to body heating. Even though I give briefs where I reassure people that this is the only danger, I'm not sure if I really believe it. There's a lot of radar technicians that I come across that expose themselves to high levels of RF emissions over time. I always ask them if they have kids and if they had girls. For whatever reason, there's a running joke that if you work in such an environment, you are much more likely to have girls. In my experience it holds true up to an uncomfortable level. I do think RF exposure messes with reproductive health in some way (infertility or girls). However, I don't think there's any basis that it's causing cancer or fuking up your mental health. Certainly not cell equipment.

Cliffs:
Unless you're sleeping on top of a cell tower, I think you're fine exposing yourself to any amount of cell tower radiation.
I sincerely hope I am wrong, and what you wrote seems like a really honest post.

It's also funny and interesting that you don't fully believe the notion that non-ionizing radiation can't affect biology beyond heating. It's also interesting that your concerns about high EMF exposure negative affecting fertility, is the same conclusion that several studies have come to.

Privacy is dangerous, can you imagine your cattle running around in a field and not knowing what they are doing? Well we are business and the government's cattle so we should be chipped, tagged, track and used as much as possible.
