You raise a good point though, there is usually always something to do nearby.

We mostly have angry men in Isuzu D-Max who'd shine a maglilte torch at your face and interrogate you if you camp somewhere you shouldn't
At least I recently discovered I have access to practical shooting contests and dynamic range. I could cope with dynamic range and walking in designated paths lol

Shooting stuff sounds fun, so long as gun ownership isn't regulated to the point of not being fun

The former having to do with humane harvest of animals, and the latter having to do with money flow...
Yes, I live off the meat I hunt, and at times trap, and legal hunting, fishing and trapping is sustainable and managed. The last thing I want is to kill all of something, or wipe something out and with modern management techniques, healthy populations of animals are the norm.
And if you just don't like killing animals, that's fine, but know that it is unavoidable if you are alive today.
Most people want to eat the burger, but don't want to meet the cow.
I have come to terms with being able to hunt, kill, butcher, store, and cook what I eat.
Without further ado, enjoy...
(I will gradually upload pics) Starting with some fish...

Its mostly just work. the wind came up and was fighting 30 knots all the way back. Like an air hockey puck with a fan on it.
I took an hour on tuesday and did some hovercraft filming...have the intro to the episode done, but more editing to do.
Maybe have it done by the weekend.
