Were more upset because no actions have been taken place by the department, suggesting a systemic issue of police choosing to look out for their own rather than punishing those who did wrong.

You said in a previous post you think he should potentially have been held liable through civil means.
But that would mean eradication of Qualified Immunity. You conveniently didn't respond and glazed over that.

So you support the elimination of Qualified Immunity. That's pretty big coming from a cop. Better not let your thin-blue-line buddies find out you feel this way or you'll end up being pushed out of the department or on evidence locker duty.

The cop, because he or she is human, will just find another way to minimize risk to them. The victim calling 911 will have to wait just a little bit longer.

Your "only way" to hold cops accountable will backfire tremendously. You clearly do NOT work in any sort of environment that involves life or death urgency.
